Re: Sinn U2 W Limited Edition

I have nothing against white dialed watches, but man is that thing white. Like Herb Tarlek belt white.

Re: New Omega Constellation models

I'm not sure if it's a dress watch that wants to be a sports watch or a sports watch that wants to be a dress watch. Either way, Omega has many better offerings.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Have worn only shorts and short sleeves since late March. Longest stretch since 1997. Love it. Our office went to jeans last fall, but I still wore dress shirts. It has been really nice and it will be hard to go back to more formal dress. I'm a government lawyer, so we still do wear suits or at lea...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

^^It's sadly true. I am a loyal BB customer, but I haven't worn anything but tees, jeans, shorts, and sweatshirts since the shutdown began. Every now and then I'll pull out a polo shirt if I want to look fancy. They had actually gone through a period of absolute dreck in the 1990's when they were ow...

Re: New LE Teaser on WB Site

Right now I don't see the point of a guessing game. The three pages of speculation here and at WUS would seem to imply that the marketing tactics are working - at least to some degree. I personally think they're dragging it out way too long. A week of daily clues followed by the reveal would have b...

Re: BB58 Blue is in!

Congratulations I like the blue they chose Does it come with the new blue/silver nato too ? Tudor stopped "throwing in" the nato a couple of years ago. My guess is that this is no different - you have to choose bracelet, leather, or nato. Crown and Buckle Chevron straps are pretty close. Not made o...

Looks good. Glad you were able to get it at retail. The early grey prices are over 5k.

I recall a photo of your Pateks on the dash of the Geo. Sadly, I dabbled with the Patek Nautilus line when they were "affordable". I think if I had sold my 5980 today instead of when I did ~5 years ago, I would have made about $60k more................ :puke: Even the SS Aquanauts are cr...

Re: New Tudor coming

In case anyone wants to compare, here's a couple of pictures of my BB41 blue dial, one in sun and one in shade. The 41's dial is a gloss finish, while this new BB seems to be matte or satin (like the other BB diver offerings). But I think the blue is pretty close. http://i.imgur.com/t31H0tZ.jpg http...

It’s not for me, but I like that Tudor has them ready to go!
It is refreshing. I'll bet that this would have been announced at Basel followed by the typical few months wait. Since it's now a few months from when Basel would have been held, this tracks pretty closely to that.

It does look really good now that there are some pics without the plastic. I agree Tudor will sell a lot of these.

Re: New Tudor coming

I recently picked up a BB41 with the blue dial. The silver and blue work really well together, but the 41 dial is a gloss blue. I'm not sure it works quite as well with a more matte blue (which is what Joe's pic looks like). Would need to see more pics. Tudor does use a very nice shade of blue for a...

Re: Yellowstone

It's basically Dallas updated with more violence and transplanted to Wyoming, but it's got good acting, beautiful scenery, and an interesting story. It's my guilty pleasure. And I didn't even recognize Cole Hauser until midway through the first season.

The third season of Yellowstone just started. Sure, it’s a bit melodramatic, but the story’s interesting and the scenery is just beautiful.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Agree on all of this, but my body and brain never took to running - I really tried for about 2 years. I wish it did - you can run just about anywhere, and the running community as a whole is a good group. But definitely good to combine cardio with some weights (I've had to adapt to lighter weights ...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

^^^ Yeah, I was just being a bit of a wise ass - sorry. I run - a lot - but I understand it isn't for everyone. The trick is to build slowly and listen to your body. I run every other day as I need the recovery time. On my "off" days I try to do something different like paddle boarding or surfing o...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Well, since it doesn't look like my spin classes will be starting up again anytime soon (and I'm not sure I'd go even if they did), I ordered a peloton today. Won't be delivered until August, but I'm pretty psyched. Interesting. My old Nordic Track elliptical machine will implode soon (is about 12 ...
