Re: Interesting read about steel Pateks

Saw that article. Stern’s reasoning for not increasing steel models so as not to become an IWC makes some sense. But damned if they are not leaving cash on the table and pissing customers off in the process. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I agree. I wonder if Rolex is working with this same min...

Re: Omega's Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 Platinum

Saw the announcement a few days ago. Love the movement but I really wish they would have done this in steel instead of Pt. No price announced yet but I can only imagine... I was told by an Omega sales exec over the weekend it's his understanding these will be available in steel in about a year. Pri...

JP, you get riled up pretty easily. What's bothering you bud? If it's just my question about the watch caseback that is inciting your responses, you need to chill. Are you from a real small town? I like your style, stick around. Now that’s a quality endorsement. Like the man said... chill.

That's a $6K watch at most in my book. Used to own one. I wouldn't pay a penny more. The current Rolex sports watch price are a joke. All that money, for that dumb case shape?
Yet they’re very much in demand... go figure.

Re: Question on Sub C ND 1140460 pre-owned pricing

As a reference, a very well known grey dealer offered me $7k cash for my 1.5 year old example a couple of months ago. I’d expect that offer to be higher right now. These prices are crazy. I know I’d never be able to replace mine in the current market. Agreed. I paid sub-7k new just a few years ago....

Re: Anyone got a line on a new Sub?

I can’t believe that a regular boring fat case sub is hard to find. That’s because they are popular. I find mine to be modern, and much more desirable than the 16610 I was wearing. They were popular three years ago too. Back when they sat in cases everywhere. You’re on TRF aren’t you? Nope :htfu: Y...

This may get me wearing nato straps more often.

Seeing how you find Rolex sport models at AD’s, they may as well be discontinued.
