Re: Halios Laguna in hand

Hows the bezel feel, hows the weight? It looks heavy. Now, I want to see the Puck even more. Where's the Puck? Feels smooth and tight, yet turns with ease. It's bi-directional, but not ratcheting like an exterior bezel. Feels like when you turn the lower crown to set hands, its a smooth operation. ...

Re: Opinions Please

My opinion is good, very good. I have most of the current Seiko "popular" dive models and the whole 20mm lug size "as being too small" is over debated, unless you are a big guy and only wear and prefer 45mm+ dia./24mm lug size watches. They look and fit fine with great balance between between the he...

Halios Bluering deserves a spot me thinks, (my rarest anyway).

Re: Blancpain and Sinn - Small Aperture, Long Exposure shots

[quote="FlyPenFly"]I reshot using my standard methods with an off camera bounce flash and I think it came out much better.

I agree 100%...much more interesting and make the watch look its best. Colors are superior as well.

Nice photos!

Cheers for that info, doesn't change my opinion in the least. Still a wonderful piece.

Re: anyone have/had a Halios Bluering

Have a Blue dial brushed version. Love it, bracelet as well. I also like the Seiko movement (goes with my Sumo) and was worth the trouble to hunt one down after months of looking. Great price for such a nice piece.

Awesome...I'm really keen to see the difference between the brushed and beaded surfaces. I'm so close to deciding on which one...

Thanks for the new pics.

Re: Looking for a big affordable diver.

tllw, first of all welcome to the forum. For one of the best bangs for your buck take a look at Artego watches. Their 300m diver is under your price and is a good quality piece. Check out this past thread with lots of pics: http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3165&p=4766...

Re: SottoMarino Watches

I have a few Sottos, but they were purchased from their mega sales deals or second hand. I wouldn't pay retail for one that is for sure, way overpriced. I like them for daily wear and the styling is unique without being too ridiculous, even the Il Capo. I don't know if they are actually designed in ...

Very clever, building the interchangeability up front is a great idea. Looking forward to seeing more as this one progresses.

Re: Unveil of the new Prometheus Manta Ray

This one is looking very impressive, and I really appreciate the hi-quality renders. That helps a lot to get a better of idea of the finish. What are your thoughts so far on the bezel? The quick-change hex bolts are very cool and unique, what are the options to be? Will more than one bezel be includ...

Re: Movas diver preorder?

Same here, I think it has a ton of potential but am really keen to see in-the-metal pics before pulling the trigger. The crystal is a domed sapphire and that will change the look rather dramatically, if my 300M Tuna is anything to go by. I also want to see the brushed vs. bead blasted images as well...

Re: New Dive Watch Design Discussion

I am very excited that this series of watch are close at hand. A couple of questions... 1) I am not a bead blasted fan, can the Pro Diver be had in a brushed finish? 2) Do the PVD versions get a bracelet, or rubber strap only? 3) When will metal prototype photos be ready? As cool as it is to see the...

And the journey continues... Just wanted to share some new pics of my recently added MM300 (thanks Derek!). Plus, I received a new Diaboliq leather strap for the 600M Golden Tuna, and a new Nubostrap leather beasty for the 300M Tuna. In addition, I want to show the new SRP043K1 as well...lastly the ...

Thanks Terry, I will definitely talk to MCWW later this week to schedule in the swap (even though the chip in question is tiny), I just wanted to enjoy it first...it is everything I thought and more! I'm slammed with work right now, but will take proper pics soon. http://www.fototime.com/91D949E5DBE...
