I like it. Nicely done given the markers were masked off.

A few side profile shots. 12.5mm thick. Drilled lugs will be present on final production pieces.

Re: Sinn Releases The DuoFlex Diving Watch Strap System

Very convoluted system. Should have just done what Breitling did with their rubber strap system. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190816/02f02e0d63c165d3bfe6950d479ddddc.jpg Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Yeah... definitely A solution, but probably not the one they should have gone with. I hope you guys do realize that "Made in America", especially when touted by niche product makers, is nothing more than marketing.
Yes. I believe the protected text is “Made in the USA”. “America” is a broader term and not necessarily a country. Maybe their loophole?

If these are in the Seiko 5 lineup I'm assuming they are not ISO rated divers? Also word "divers" does not appear on dial?

Re: Blancpain Barakuda

I could justify a Sub at $6,000. I can't at $12,000+. Maybe I'm just not rich enough for the watch game, but I'm in the 90-95th percentile of earning. Are watches really now a "one percenter" thing? I guess it is a numbers game.... Someone in the top 5th percentile of U.S. household family incomes ...

I expected the watch to be some sort of pilot's watch given the name. They're even using the Messerschmitt AG logo on the dial which is a bird in flight.

On the bright side, he's "created his own story." I think that quote was the most disturbing part of his entire rant/story. For those banned from WUS- I wanted to restore it, so I could make my own scratches and create my own "story," so to speak. Honestly, if you want to create your own...

Re: Richardt Mejer’s Automatisk watches

The one with the yellow writing looks somewhat nice to me. There's something missing for me though. It looks like a decent mock up, but not a real watch. Design appears to be going for a very industrial/modern look, but I agree it reads a bit like a raw case blank due to the basic machining and cou...

Black Bay Overpolish

Interesting thread on WUS. Basically a guy bought a very lightly used 6 month old BB58 and couldn't stand that there were light scratches so he sent it to RSC to have them make it "like new" RSC appears to have taken a file to the chamfers. OP got what he wanted though... scratches are gone. h...

Junhans Max Bill Chronoscope Anthracite

Thought I would post a few thoughts on the Chronoscope that I picked up. I'm a big fan of Bauhaus design and studied it in college and always wanted to pick up a proper Bauhaus watch (Nomos, Stowa, etc...). Problem is whenever I get a dressy watch it doesn't get any wrist time.... I like looking at ...
