That makes a very strong case for being the ugliest watch ever made.
I'd say we have a winner.

Hands are wrong. They need to be better differentiated.
Agreed. It is otherwise a pretty decent look.
also hand length seems completely arbitrary. Aligns with nothing on the dial.

Re: Tuna shroud refinisher

How exactly does it work? My 015 is really really beat up. I have a sapphire crystal on hand, but I’m waiting for the battery to die or show low life so I can send it in. It’s been almost 8 years. I would love to try this and make my shroud look a little better. It is essentially a fitter holder th...

Note that the Case is actually ceramic, other parts are Ti (crown, bezel, escape valve). More of Omega going in the wrong direction for me.

Would be interesting if they made the ceramic bezel insert Matte on this.......

Re: New Tudor Sub?

With the new tiny in-house BB58 movement, they could do a lot of things. Wouldn't be surprised if they utilized the case as well, but went a different direction with the bezel/dial. I would be surprised to see them go to a sub-style case with crown guards, but maybe they see the BB theme as played o...

I also like the “hard soaps” comment. I don’t do body wash so are these bars you buy online or where? They aren’t oily are they ?

I recently found my favorite bar soap and it’s from Old Spice, surprisingly. They do not last more than 5-6 showers.
Was talking about hard shaving soaps.

I like this case, but you start getting into heavy $$ building a better SKX from scratch. Ask me how I know.

In the end I have decided that I prefer the simplicity of a stock SKX.

Tuna shroud refinisher

I bought a lovely SBBN015 Tuna last year from Pat as I always regretted selling mine years ago. Tuna had been worn as the tool watch that it is and continues to dutifully take the "weekend beater" function with me. I found a guy on SCWF that 3D printed a run of nylon shroud holders for placing in a ...

Re: Starter straight razor?

What’s the allure of this old school way of shaving ? I’d be scared to cut myself all the time. I shave my whole head two times a week and Schlick Quattro is the smoothest blade ever. I buy 24 packs and that lasts me about 2 years. Takes a tad bit more skill, but honestly the shave is better and th...

Re: Marks / flaws / imperfections on dial of SBDJ011?

Interesting. Dial appears to have a sunburst pattern. Is this translucent plastic?

Would think they might do the panels in quarters so that they align with 12-3-6-9 but maybe tough with the date.

Omega is going to stick the 321 into some sort of Speedmaster and charge double for it. That's the bottom line (i.e. the bottom line).

Re: Erika’s Originals Question

Clue me in please. Why are the Erica’s straps nice? Flexible/stretchy? The material is great, but also your watch is not teetering atop almost 3mm of fabric as with NATO. And probably more importantly, they are infinitely adjustable, your not limited to incremental holes. Yeah, I prefer the comfort...

A bit like a NATO, but has some stretch so super comfortable, and hardware is more low profile. Hardware is on the side so very nice if you spend a lot of time typing on a keyboard.

Re: Erika’s Originals Question

I have to keep working with it. I can’t get it fastened while it is on my wrist, and my hand is too big to slip through if I fasten before putting it on. It gets easier with repetition. I can slip on my Erika straps now without looking. Agreed. Took me a few wears to get the hang, but now I can hoo...
