BTW, Steve, my sleep doc and my primary physician have both wanted me to give up cigars for years. Hasn't happened yet. Still a cubaholic.

Re: My first CPAP machine in the house.

I tried to use a CPAP for my apnea twice. I never became comfortable with the mask. I opted for an oral appliance instead; from a dentist that specialized in the devices. It also takes some getting used to, but drastically reduced snoring issues and I prefer it to the CPAP alternative. Thanks Matt....

Re: My first CPAP machine in the house.

Benn using CPAP since 1996 and on my third machine, so I'm an old pro. I tried the nasal pillows, but could never get used to the thing crammed up my nostrils. Used a conventional nasal mask until a year and a half ago, when I switched to the Respironics Dreamwear. It resembles the pillows device, ...

My first CPAP machine in the house.

A few weeks ago I finally broke down and had a sleep study done. I snore like a banshee and wife wears earplugs so she can sleep. She says she never noticed I stop breathing but I really sleep more than an hour or two without rolling over and looking at the clock. I get tired during the day as well....

New Glycine after trade completed.

I had a Formex for sale here and at WF for a while. Never got much traction as it's not everyone's cuppa tea. Last week a member over there offered a trade for a new Glycine Airman GMT. While I would have preferred a 42mm version, he had the 44mm which is about as big as I like to go these days. The...

Binged watched "Brittania" on Amazon last week. I liked it. Kinda different with their interpretation of the druid culture.

I was an Avast user for years but the last version seemed to slow my computer down substantially. I now use Avira which is free.

Finally watched 13 Hours last night. What a great movie. I typically don't like Michael Bay films, but this one was intelligent and intense. Well done all around.
I just finished watching this movie this morning. Very good flick. Sad though.

Re: New lens, better pics

Nice set up Don! I wish I had the room for a semi permanent set up like that.

I have the 60mm macro from Canon and its nice. I also picked up a 24mm wide angle lens that will work as a macro for watch shots pretty well.

Re: Another new B&R Bands velcro strap.

While I like it a lot and think it’s one of the most comfortable ways to wear your watch, since it’s adjustable by Velcro and loop- I will say I don’t think it’s super high quality. Then again it’s $30... so maybe it’s about right for the price. I just thought it felt relatively thin. Yea I think t...

Another new B&R Bands velcro strap.

After getting lost by the USPS for over a week, I finally have my new B&R velcro band. Last week the carrier supposedly delivered my band. The tracking number showed she had delivered it. But when I checked my mailbox it was nowhere to be found. I opened an inquiry to the USPS and notified B&R bands...

Watched Arrival last week on Amazon. I liked it. Thought provoking on our concept of time similar to Interstellar but way less 'action'.

Re: New WiFi router

I have my own modem as well. I didn't have the headache trying to tell them I didn't need to rent one. I too only have internet thru them as it's the only high speed option at my house right now. I have been waiting years for FIOS to come to the neighborhood. I hate having to renegotiate every year ...
