Re: Newbie question on the Planet Ocean Series

Thanks for the info, I am struggling with finding the right size, not sure it exists for me in the PO. My Certina PH200M is just a bit big for my taste (42.8 bezel diameter), although it is thinner, so maybe I would like the proportions on the 45 PO better. 41mm bezel diamater is generally too small...

Re: Newbie question on the Planet Ocean Series

Awesome, Joe, thanks! 40mm bezel diameter I'm afraid is going to be too small for my taste, 42mm is about ideal for my preferences.

Re: Newbie question on the Planet Ocean Series

Hmm, guess it was a valid question, as the answer isn't obvious. Maybe it is time to find an Omega boutique, to hell with the Pandemic!

Re: Newbie question on the Planet Ocean Series

wow, thanks guys, now I'm wondering if I can comfortably pull off the 45.5 on my 7.25 wrist... I have two 42mm 8500 POs I’ve been procrastinating on listing.... Thanks, but I think it's going to be a little small for my taste based on the above discussion. Probably need to save up for the 43.5.

my digital calipers on my 8500 say 40.6mm for the bezel.
Awesome - thanks! So if I'm looking for a bezel diameter around 42mm looks like I need to look at the larger models. All the 43.5 models are pretty tall watches, aren't they?

Newbie question on the Planet Ocean Series

Pardon my ignorance, but I've been struggling to find some info on bezel diameters for the various iterations of the Planet Ocean. Maybe I'm wrong, but the bezel appears slightly smaller than the case on most (if not all) of the Planet Oceans. Personally would love to see everyone start quoting Beze...

If you can wait till the Fall, the base model iPhone 12 is going to be awesome (and only $650).

Agreed! I've contemplated doing the same thing. Sapphire crystal would be nice too, need to buff mine out.

Re: New Certina DS PH200

Guys, just measured mine, lug-tip to lug-tip is 52mm. Springbars are set in quite a bit, 45mm between the springbars.

Re: New Certina DS PH200

Is the L2L 55mm (estimate) like the other one? Damn was it really that yuge? I owned the first re-release briefly and I don’t recall it being a bad fit I would assume same specs as the previous 2 colorways No, its more like 52mm. The springbar holes are drilled fairly far in, so its not that bad..a...

Re: Certina DS Super PH500M Orange Dial

Why’s that Matt? £795 , £500 pre-order. Ships next month. Seriously, I really like my PH200M, and Jura was awesome to deal with. However, I am having an issue with the bezel (no clicks, turns both ways), not sure if the bezel spring is broken or just needs to be repositioned. Debating if I want to ...

Great shot! This one keeps tempting me, what size wrist do you have? Afraid it might look a little small for my taste on my 7.25" wrist.

Re: More WUS Shenanigans...

I had a couple straps up for sale over there last week. This asshole messaged me and said that if I offered to sell them to him at a REALLY discounted price from what I was asking, MAYBE he would take them.... We're talking $40 and $50 straps here. WTF is wrong with people? It's getting to the point...
