Interesting, been looking for a white-dialed diver, like the look of this one!

Re: Thinking about a new device

I personally am very happy with my Chromebook, an Asus C302. Macbook Air build quality, long battery life, plenty of horsepower, and so much simpler to run/maintain than a Windows machine, or for that matter an Apple machine.

Re: New car day tomorrow.

I've wanted an Exige since they first came to the US in 2006. Drove an Exige S in 2007 and was close to pulling the trigger, but at 6'4" tall it was not a great fit. I decided that a 911 was the better, if somewhat less interesting, choice. I still keep telling myself that I'll own an Exige one day...

I was checking out the Pepsi yesterday, think these are the nicest watches Certina has released in a long time.
How does it wear? I would imagine at 43mm with the slim bezel it might wear rather large.
Sorry, meant checking it out online.

Awesome! Was about to ask about quality spring bars.

Have had two watches that I basically bumped pop their spring bars and fall to the ground in the last 6 months...

All of your requirements screamed chrome book to me. 🤔
Me too. Love my Asus C302, have had it over a year now. Super-high quality looks, feel, backlit keyboard, super-fast, touch-screen is great for watching movies, etc. Can't imagine going back to Windoze or Apple...

Sold on DWC?
Sounds like a WUS story to me! This crap seems like it gets worse each year. One reason why I've really slowed down on buying watches (hate selling them!).

I had one for a day. The dial has a nice texture. It's great that he didn't make it a gloss dial like most of the others. It's a nice light blue. The color is fun but can still be worn with most outfits without looking strange. How the bezel action? Heard it was merely "good." Bezel action is prett...

Re: Summer beater?

Guess I shouldn't have used the term "beater." I've lately been picking up an affordable watch (usually a micro with a colorful dial) in the Spring, selling it later in the year.

Like to keep around $500 or so so that if I scratch it up I don't take too big of a hit when I sell it.
