Re: New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue

Thinking about picking one of these up but would love to hear an update from you guys that got one. Still just as good on day 30 or does the fauxtina get old? Matt, the lume on this one is really well done IMO. It does look like lightly aged tritium, but it's not overdone and doesn't look contrived...

Re: Every Presage from Baselworld 2018

Love the look and profile of the SJE073. I think I read somewhere it's over $2K, which may be a hard sell for Presage, but I'm sure they'll sell the limited number.

Re: All of Tudor's New Baselworld 2018 Releases

I’ve never bought a Tudor from an AD.. do they give a discount like Omega ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I have gotten a 15% discount on Tudors from an AD, but right now the ADs I've bought from aren't offering any discount on the 58. I'm on the fence about just jumping in at full retail or w...

Re: All of Tudor's New Baselworld 2018 Releases

Using the online photos and extrapolating measurements knowing the width is 39, the lug width is 20 and lug to lug is about 47. Sent from my LG-K425 using Tapatalk In other words, it's the perfect size for a diver. With no crown guards and a flat back, it should wear better than a 14060m. [emoji106...

Brett Any idea when you expect the BB58’s to come in stock? BTW I just placed a deposit on your site. Not just yet, but let me send an e-mail and see if they can tell me. It might be a little while before we hear back since it's late at night there. Thanks  I'm being told summer for the GMT...

A pretty cool new pilot's chronograph from Guinand, based on a model from the '60s called the 361. https://www.guinand-uhren.de/isotope/i/id-361-crop.jpg https://www.guinand-uhren.de/files/guinand/content/361/mood1.jpg ETA/Valjoux 7753, 40.6 x 15.2 mm case, 1865 € https://www.guinand-uhren.de/model...

Re: Basel Releases 2018

Well, I'm not getting Seiko's new diver...too big. And the hands on the cheaper ones suck. The Tudor 58 is nice...but all long as there's a collar around it, I'm out. Tudor did well with their new models this year though. And w/Rolex's new models and their hefty prices, Tudor looks to be on the up-...

It's a LE of 1881 but I haven't seen the price. It's 40.5mm with I think a 47mm LTL.

Edit: just saw Joe's post with the Hodinkee link. $2200??? That's crazy.

Damn, I think that Haveston would look perfect on my silver dialed Khaki. Do you like the way it wears, is the sliding keeper a good idea?

Looks great Mike. I think 38mm is about perfect for that watch. I personally couldn't wear a watch any smaller without thinking it looked funny on me. Re: Denim

My leg build is not very denim friendly. I need a bit more stretch. They're not all skinny jeans. I can't (or won't) wear them. The ones I just got from Taylor Stitch have room in the legs without being dad jeans. Or maybe they are dad jeans and I'm just too old to realize it. They're made right in...
