Re: What do you drive???

It totally makes sense since he’s moving stuff so often. But I never understood the downtown accountants driving a massive F350 with six wheels. I mean anybody can spend the money as they please but it seems brutally inefficient to me. The most amazing thing is that we’re now starting to see F150s ...

Re: What do you drive???

Ben, no, just a Silverado LT Chris, yep. Off Corporate lease with 20K Sepp, just a 6’ bed extended cab....very common where I live. Winters drive 4wd. I am a construction subcontractor, meaning I supply furniture and equipment to laboratories. I have been known to haul material to job sites, sample...

Re: Stowa Prodiver Ceramic

I always liked the look of the Prodiver. Have had a couple years ago and they did wear large and not very comfortably for me. That was before they were made in titanium.

Re: New Seiko Thread

The release date for the 6105 re-edition is 7/8, in case that wasn't already posted. That's for Japan at least, not sure if the international release is the same. My AD currently isn't shipping to the US due to COVID19, but I guess it could change by then.

I'm a fan of Topper, but I'll probably get mine from Japan since I get a good discount from my AD there. So far I haven't found the corresponding Japan market version though, should be SBDCsomething. Re: New Seiko Thread

I assume actual market price will be $800-900 for a while and then they’ll sell for under $700. Just like most versions of the MM200. They’re not limited in any way, so prices will settle in after a few months. I would normally wait but placed a deposit today for the black one. Stimulus ca...

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200428/ba0916de7a51f8d0bfc6140a0d901156.jpg The funny thing is how much better it looks compared to the much more expensive LE (better size, bracelet, less bling). Except for the date surround. I notice on all the "cheaper" re-editions they don't have the raised s...

Re: New Seiko Thread

My problem in pulling the trigger on a Seiko is finding one I like that's not 44/45mm and not a super expensive reissue. At around 40mm/13mm these are good looking and a much better size for me. But I agree, they fall in a intermediary price range. Having sapphire, and hardening helps a bit. I'd be...

Re: New Seiko Thread

What color is the dial on the 145? I'm color blind, and I can't tell the difference between the 143 and 145. I think the gray one is the one I want. Minor complaint, but I do wish Seiko would offer each dial option with a rubber strap option. Seems like my preferred dial never matches up with my pr...

Re: New Seiko Thread

I love the look of this one, and the dimensions, could be my first Seiko. Little confused, I can't find this exact one (SPB149J1 - blueish dial w/o a gold second hand). This does not appear to have a gold second hand (unless it's lighting). https://timeandtidewatches.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/...
