Re: Recent trip to Maryland

Your daughter is really growing up. The extant of my experience in MD consists of Baltimore. I'm glad to hear that there are some nice areas. Wait, you didn't like Baltimore? I hate B-more. It isn't the Maryland I love :crybaby: I was kidding about Baltimore. I think I've only ever been the...

Re: Oris + Hodinkee collaboration 6-26-19

I hate that ugly bracelet. Did they fit it to this LE special, or do all of these have an ugly ass Tudor BB style fake rivet bracelet? The regular 40mm model comes with the same bracelet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I prefer the regular 40. At any price really, but factor in the price and th...

Re: Recent trip to Maryland

I went to school in Newark DE and lived between there and Wilmington DE for 20+ years, so I know that area well. The wild horses on Chincoteague Island are a sight, and hopefully this time of year you didn't get eaten alive by the bugs. I think Ocean City MD has the most bars per square block in the...

Re: Ball Watch's Roadmaster Marine GMT

At first glance I liked it, but the proportions look odd to me - the hands look stubby and I don't care for the gigantic 12, 6, and 9. They got the colors right though.

MM200 with green dial, gold hands/markers
I like this, which is odd since I don't like the green/gold combo on the Alpinist or Harrods Black Bay.

Re: Seriously...come on

I’m holding out for Ford to release the new Bronco. I've been waiting over 10 years since those rumor started floating around. I think the new one is going to be a huge disappointment, sorta like the new Chevy Blazer. I am also waiting to see how the new Defender turns out as well. Supposedly GM is...

Re: Seriously...come on

I drove by a Jeep dealer the other day and saw a Gladiator on the lot. Cool as hell. So when I got home I looked it up on their site and it was almost $65K. WTF!!!??? I remember when you could buy a new Wrangler for $15K. When I graduated college in ‘89, the Jeep dealer in Kalamazoo was selling bra...

I actually read the article for a while, I was just curious what the case was made of. (it's coated steel) I got to the point where the guy says he "designed a new dial"... Wait what? I think I've seen that dial design somewhere before.

Re: New Seiko Thread

Great idea Chris, the one over on WUS is so cluttered I don't even really check it out any more. There is a ton of bickering and dick measuring in that thread. It is hard to get any real information out of it. That too. Just for laughs, go to the Rolex/Tudor forum there sometime and mention Tudor. ...

Mine just arrived and I love it. The dial really changes based on the lighting. I need to get a bracelet. Thanks again Terry for the hook up! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190607/34b1995b9881ce8b7d203bb91108b03e.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190607/6af775127f9e4279a5215ecd83b9...

I've had the black version of the Nighthawk and it is cool, but wears bigger than I like these days. I just found an unworn Alpinist for basically list plus shipping, so I'm going to give it a try. Shout out to Terry for connecting me with the seller!
