Re: Missed opportunity

I don't think that's true anymore. Everyone wants "fat cases" and "nice chamfers" these days. Amazingly, the sellers seem to have a never-ending supply of such watches at very high prices. It's all a wink wink nudge nudge - everyone knows they're heavily worked but nobody says anything. Most 30-yea...

Way late submission, but it’s been a long day in the mountains. Too long. Can barely move.

Re: Missed opportunity

Papers on a 1974 watch? I don't give a shit about. Case shape is what I would worry about. Most of the 1675's I have seen Rolex has already changed out the hands on them. So it isn't common to see they not matching it seems.

^^^ no doubt! That’s a Navy tradition - pity the fool who washes someone’s coffee cup I once made a Chief select steal all the coffee cups out of the goat locker on a fast attack and run them through the dishwasher. I don't see how a guy dying at 102 is something to be sad about. Agreed. He made it to 102 and that’s plenty. A couple other things come to mind... - While Sinn started the company that bears his name, aren’t most of the watches that we associate with the brand more the work of Lothar Schmidt? - Wa...

Re: New family car

Very belated congrats mate, you still have a Saab in the stable? Still got ours, Kim just got a new company car so I'm driving the old 93t. Still a great car and I keep it well serviced and cleaned so it looks pretty good for a 10 years old car. I still drive my Saab wagon and we still have our wif...

I have a friend who owns that exact model. He’s owned a few very nice cars and said this blows them all away. I won’t mention the other brands so as not to start a war here, but let’s just say most would be surprised ;) I thought everyone already knew how great these cars were, but looking at some ...

Todd, aren't there different size forks? The one I got here at a bargain price fits Rolex and Tudor exactly I honestly don't know. How are these better than a regular spring bar tool? Because all I do is apply pressure to back of the lug while I release each spring bar. Just wondering.
