Re: The Art of Watchmaking - In Pictures

I would love some hand drawn pictures like this to frame. https://i.guim.co.uk/img/media/ece80db7a4b1d4c52b8883aa65c1b3c8aec73c97/0_0_6720_4480/master/6720.jpg?width=480&quality=45&auto=format&fit=max&dpr=2&s=9de585c52928354d1ddd1bfc0ba6e053 Years ago I got prints from Archie B. Re: Hamtum new release March 1st 2019

I really like this watch a lot. I can see myself getting on. My only issue is the clasp they are talking about using. If this is one of those long/sliding adjustment clasp they suck. They take up way to much wrist real estate imo. A regular fold over clasp would be perfect.

More hollow end links. Ugh. If they are as sturdy as the ones from my Yobokies BoR I wear with my Sumo I wouldn't be concerned. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk I hate the scratches they leave under the lugs. Hahaha WTF happened to you? Did you bump your head and start drinking soy???

Re: Seiko 6105 Apocalypse Reissue LE

My first vintage run was with Seiko. I had a handful of dime piece 6105’s. I’m talking all white lume and no hand oxidation. Those ran $500-$700 at the time. Now a great condition 6105 is $1500 +. I am sorry, but paying over $1000 for a 6105 is dumb. They are great looking but the movements are not...

Jack worked on mine, too. It was in rough shape when I got it, but new lime, crystal, and a movement service brought it back from the dead.

Mike if you know where to get an original in excellent and serviced condition I would appreciate if you pointed me in that direction. Thanks! I own one that the previous owner had restored by IWW. It isn't perfect, but it looks good and runs well for a nearly 46-year-old watch. That said, I would g...

Re: Grand Seiko SBGX117

They are not as easy to find since they sold out almost 5 years ago. Is this the sort of reasonably sized quartz GS diver? Has it really been five years since they released that? I ordered mine in December 2014, shortly after it was released. I bought a SBDX012 at the same time. Holy shit the price...

My Danner Featherlights above are super lightweight, and will stand up to whatever you throw at them. Re: STEINHART WATCHES OCEAN 39 EXPLORER PLEXI - LIMITED EDITION 300PCS

Is it me or does something look a bit odd about the overall proportions of this watch? I think maybe it's that the dial looks too small relative to the beefy case/bezel. And yeah, that bezel pearl reminds me that I'd like some eggs sunny side up. Maybe the domed crystal is making it look smaller th...
