Kobold is comfortable, but tough dealing with their spotty CS on orders.

Re: New Coffee Set-up

I am still using my old school Saeco machine from about 20 years ago. I have been looking to upgrade but I know the characteristics of this one so I'm not ready to learn a new one. Funny our new 7-11 in town just installed a Melitta Cafina CT8. I love it. I never thought I would say that about somet...

Re: What do you drive???

I just picked up this beater from a guy whose tractor I worked on last year. My wife wants our kid to learn how to drive in a Bug with airbags. So this one will fit that need for a bit. It needs a little work but it was stupid cheap, and the cash helped out someone in need. https://i.imgur.com/D0atG...

Buying from you was a great experience so I hope you'll find the time and energy to continue contributing to the watch space in some capacity. Thanks again for the quality products and service. Thanks brother. I am working on somethings for the future. Been a fan of Terry and his products for a whi...

You may come out ahead, value-wise, but it is still a total pain to track down a trusted watchmaker, and then hope they can repair it, or get the right parts.
totally. no two ways about it.

Some times like the case of the Glycine airman and the hacking wire a watchmaker weak in there skill screws up the parts and no replacement parts. The timer in these are a little different than a chronograph but I bet what happens with the Airman happens to the Benthos. Why I send certain vintage w...

Re: Fake Seiko Padi - Video on how to spot one

I'm pretty shocked at how close the fake is, movement included. These watches aren't that expensive, so I'm surprised it would make economic sense to reproduce one so well. If there is money to be made people will fake anything regardless of the price point. SKX's and Seiko 5's have been faked for ...

I love this, but just like the Doxa T-Graph reissue it’s way over priced for me. Super frustrating. And on their site the movement is listed as a “high end Swiss manufacture caliber...”. Ok so what’s the movement? And that much on a strap? I’m not crazy about the trend of $3k-$4k being the new spot...

ben I think you are pussy trails if you are staying in the saddle that long. find some trails that are aggressive full of hills and dirt. A good 2-3 mile trail is all you need to great work out. if you are trying to be a pavement hoe then get a pavement bike. not a mtn bike. oh and use a plug that h...
