Re: Ming 18.01 H41 Diver coming Aug 7th

This brand seems to be cashing in on the FOMO culture. I don't see the draw. The name is awful and the designs are questionable - like something you'd get out of one of those catalogs on an airplane  Agree same. I saw the first version in NYC a while back. It was cool but not for me. the own...

Re: Biking: beginner tips?

Pro tip: use a clothespin to put a playing card in your spokes. It makes a cool sound. This is the bike I wanted back in ‘73, but we couldn’t afford it. Made by Yamaha. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200808/261aeba590da1127ebfb9ad302604bda.jpg we had one close to that but it had coil springs on...

It has a split down the middle. My neighbor that runs with my wife called it a “ball breather”.
the split is to air out the vag.

i think that type of bike is called a "comfort" bike. slang for vag bike :gayumbrella:

Re: Biking: beginner tips?

padded shorts, good seat, and a good bit fitting are the key. that woman's seat on that bike is going to be unforgiving as it get's. you need a seat made for men (yes they do make them). WTB, Bontrager and Ritchey make some of the best seats for the price.

I was flipping through the photo album on my phone, and I found these from summer 2017. My wife's uncle volunteers at an antique tractor museum in Gelibolu (a.k.a. Gallipoli), Turkey. He gave us an after-hours tour of the place. https://i.imgur.com/yZFsV8Q.jpg This is the one I want. Porsche for th...

I really like the rubber strap they paired with this. Just wish it was shorter (and I find metal keepers uncomfortable). Seiko SPB149 LE Not sure it’s a keeper, but it’s a nice package. Great value in this one, IMO. The blue/grey dial is unique. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200728/913975eccec...

I wonder how Seiko fixed the alignment issues....
By getting rid of chapter rings and making it part of the dial?
and they got rid of the minute markers. lol

to be fair, plenty of people would say they don't see the purpose of a wristwatch with today's smartphones. let alone the idea of paying $15-30k for one.

Amazon sells them and a couple of other "put your own logo on a $3 chinese strap if you order more than a 100" "strap" companies so I would guess it's from Amazon. if you ordered directly then my guess they get to use Amazon warehouses to fulfill? it does come in Barton Watch Bands branded packagin...

I’ve had Weather Techs in the past, but I found out Ford made their own heavy duty floor mats when I needed them for our current vehicles. They’re a similar idea but softer feeling with a more matte appearance. Bonus is that they have the vehicle logo in the grip pattern. They were about $30 less t...
