Re: New Bremont MB Viper

After two Supermarines went back under warranty (and being accused of causing damage, and then getting a weak apology) I sold my Bremonts. I still think of getting another, but they seem to moving further away from what I look for in a watch. This latest is simply weird, in my opinion, and quite ugl...

Finishing Shantaram. Very good series.
If you haven’t seen Slow Horses, your missing top notch spy stuff.
Slow Horses is excellent; just finished series 2. The books are great too, went through them at almost one per day.

Just started it and enjoying it so far.

Recently finished watching "Slow Horses" on Apple TV. Excellent and close to the book, Oldman is superb.

I like the shape of the case and crown guards, but the wide white ring throws me off even more than the odd minute hand. I might have considered one if they had a single-colour dial.

Operation Mincemeat. Disappointing: The man who never was is much better. Shame, as Macintyre's book is excellent.

I like the case design, but it's priced beyond what I'd be prepared to pay.

Insane prices, and even though I'm an Omega fan, if I were spending that much, I'd go for the Deepsea.

Resurrecting this one.... So don't laugh, but the last pair of selvedge jeans I had were some GAP. I actually liked them, but they are too big now. GAP is super low on stock so looking for recommendations. Nice, dark jeans that I can wear to the office (at least at first) in slim trim is what I wan...

Re: Breitling strap lengths

Thanks guys, and that's the issue: Breitling lists the lengths as 'small' and 'standard' but I can't find any reference to the actual lengths in mm / inches

As it happens, the one I was looking at is sold out anyway.

Re: Breitling strap lengths

Steve, try this site. Local jeweler down here and they list lengths. Hope this helps. https://www.grayandsons.com/watch-bands/breitling-watch-bands-and-straps.html Thank you, appreciate you taking the time, but I can't see anything about length. Apparently Breitling does 'small', 'standard' and lon...

Breitling strap lengths

Hi guys

Just went to order a strap from the B website, but the one I want is only available in small at the moment, and there's no indication of the actual length in mm / inches; does anyone know what the actual measurement is or where to find out?

Thanks fellas

I think I like it, but can't get past whatever it is that the chrono-lock does. Thinking about that, kind of distracts me from the whole design.

Re: Car Spotting

I agree, but they’d probably have a difficult time bringing something that primitive to market these days with the incredibly strict rules in Europe. Perhaps. That said, Suzuki has done a great job on the new Jimny, so its possible. https://www.carscoops.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/e553a33c-2019...

Re: BREMONT S500 Black - any experience?

Bit late to the party, but I have one and love it. My only gripe is the rubber strap is so heavy duty I find it a bit uncomfortable. It is a bit thick, but the lug shape works well on the wrist. It also has the same shock protection and ant-mag' as the MB.

Re: Downside To a Micro Watch Company

Yeah, I asked Bremont if I bought a watch with a display back whether they'd swap it for a closed back - said I'd pay, but no deal as it would create a watch that isn't in their line-up.
