Re: CO Meetup next weekend!

Who brought all those vintage beauties? There were a lot of vintage guys there last night. If you were talking about the grouping of photos of the JLC, Hamilton, Bulova, and Alpina, they were all from a guy in from CA visiting his friend in Denver. Good to see some of the guys again. Definitely a wide variety. That all bronze Root beer Tudor and Roger's bronze and blue Tudor were stunning. My UV light lit the Dark side of the Moon Omega up something crazy! Mike's Ares SOG maybe had the best Lume there. My wife and I get together with some of ...

Not going to show the whole collection just stuff I added this year. I am a history buff so most of my collection is connected to history. https://i.imgur.com/RqsX18K.jpg A lot of history with this one from a British Soldier from WW1 who was in the Gallipoli campaign. If the scratches are severe or affecting the visibility of the watch, it might be necessary to consult a professional watch repair service to assess if the crystal needs to be replaced.

Toxicavenger, why would the lume rub the dial, is it not only on the top of the hands? The hands are hollow in the middle and lume fills the gap. I believe they said the hands were previously re-lumed and over filled? And if the lume is flaking off and landing on dial, it can stain it over time. Bu...
