Re: 40mm Panerai Luminor

nope, you want a 44mm case, preferably 1950 luminor. the 40 (and 42 imo) are not wide enough to balance the width/weight of these cases well, and they wear top heavy. 44mm spreads the load and wears very well balanced. 6.5 - 6.75 here and 44 is the sweet spot for sure Thanks for the input.

40mm Panerai Luminor

Hi, i always think that 40mm is the best for 6.5 inches wrist not the 44mm or 47mm. What do you think? Would you wear one for a wrist between 6.5-7 inches?

Nomadland is good to watch with a cup of tea. Movie is about drifter on mobile home feeling lonely, confuse and helpless. It's kind of movie for award winning.

Re: Movie suggestions!!

No man's land is an excellent French mini series. About the elder brother looking for her younger sister who joined the Kurds Liberation Army fighting with IS in Syria.
Excellent watch and i wish they could make it longer instead of 8 episodes.

Re: Seiko SKX009

I’ve always thought the old SKX007/009 was one of the best and most well thought out “budget” dive watches ever made. Yeah, it doesn’t hand wind, but if you wear it everyday it doesn’t matter. Bi-directional winding makes it work for even office dwellers. Lume is outstanding. Bezel action (and desi...

Seiko SKX009

After seeing all these new Seiko releases i realize all i need is a Seiko SKX009. As a tool watch her weight and size are correct but most importantly the old school genuine Seiko bracelet wrap around wrist like a glove. It would be my EDC like Robert Redford in All Is Lost. seiko skx009.jpg All_is_...

I could imagine if military today wish to find a cheap and non-japanese beater -"Benrus" alike, Glycine Combat would fit the job.

Very cool - I’ve owned a couple and they punch higher than their weight; bracelet is nice too, if you can score one...

Enjoy!

I was looking for SKX007 equivalent beater and found this one. Right size at 42mm and bronze will aged like a bottle of affordable whiskey.
