That's an awesome list. I listen to everything but going over all the metal sub-genres I realize that I listen to way too much metal.
I'm really impressed to see that they included all the doom metal, mathcore, and other heavy genres. I'm a big DEP fan soooo.

They should call it the Emperor Penguin since there actually is an Emperor Penguin.
This one actually looks really good, I like it. It grew on me.

Re: I don't know, not one of O7's finest
Mitch is very transparent on the O7 forum about how they have extra parts laying around that they assemble/cobble together. I guess this could be a point of contention but hey, Seiko does it too and they're mainstream.

Re: PAM HOMAGE QUESTION
Would it be advisable to buy one to see if it meets wearability and own preferences? Yes.... Spending several hundred vs. several thousand for something you are unsure of? Start with the homage. I also noticed you capped "PAM HOMAGES" as if to call a spade a spade. Regardless of the ethics...

With the exception of those hands, that watch looks like serious business. The hour markers look huge and like they would glow like a torch all night. I even love the elegant and unobtrusive 300m on the dial. Very nice.

Better keep that watch away from your patented Invicta flame fusion crystal or it might catch fire.

I really like this line of watches too. It is Casio's best competition against Citizen.
Only problem is I always read it in my mind as OC-anus.

Re: Round #2: Lume Showdown (MM -vs- U1)
It looks like the Panerai is the real winner there (in before "Seiko has the best lume evar!" comment). I think the jury is still out on what the brightest lume is. I did some work in a photolab using some fancy cameras to measure luminosity on LEDs on instrument panels. It would be interesting to d...

That chick is a winner....so hot. As for the phone? Total excess if you ask me. For 50k I expect my phone to do some really cool shit like act as a scrambler or have a built in EMP that can take out all nearby electronics. 50k puts that phone in the "James Bond phone" cost-category. If that phone ca...

I dont like brand forums... +1 I think it restricts discussion. Besides, what do you accomplish with a Seiko forum? Love the hands and the 2 o'clock crown. The Ha'i Q has a crown at 2, but it is no secret that Chris (Darkman) is a vintage watch fan. Maybe this was one of his inspirations.

Nice to see it is 42mm, some of their watches seem to be on the smaller side. I wonder if it wears bigger and if that measurement is with the crown. It looks nice, but the stock pictures are kind of sterile. I bet it looks stunning in person. I really like the C8 by the way...the only thing that I'm...

It'll only make a difference to non-WIS. Those truly interested in mechanical watches are not in it for either a...
