Re: U1-T Blue Dial

Blue dial watches in general seem to be very popular. I haven’t found any that stick for me (several Omegas, a couple of Doxa, an Oris, a few micros). The Caribbean is a nice blue. I’ve owned a couple of U1’s over the years, both black dials. I would buy used. Black dialed U1’s always seem available...

Re: Good idea or bad idea?

I would choose the Daytona over the DS, especially since you have the standard SD.

The Deepsea is too much of a good thing - too big, too thick, too heavy for me.

Re: There seems to be an issue with Rolex's supply

Very similar case at two Rolex AD’s I’ve visited in the Houston area recently.

Neither had any sports models - zero - not even a milguass

I guess I missed the release and the previous discussion thread.

Cool watch, though.

Re: Certina DS PH200 Reissue

Looks nice. Was the L2L 52? Curious as well. If 52, too big for me 52 is what I've seen specified. diameter of the case: 41 mm diameter of the bezel: 42.8 mm lug to lug: 52 mm height: approx. 13.2 mm lug width: 20 mm. https://www.vintagecertinas.ch/en/certina-ds-ph200m-the-return-of-an-icon/ Perfec...

Re: Certina DS PH200 Reissue

I bought Ripper’s that was listed a week or so ago. Just got the watch today.

After reading the too big, mainly lug to lug, I was concerned that it would wear too big for me. Not the case at all for my 7.5 inch wrist.

I’ll get some pictures up in the next few days.

I think the hands and markers would look better in bronze rather than gold.

Turdle. Anybody make a "President" bracelet for these that won't break the bank? I'm ok with hollow end links.

I think less than that, probably 3- 5 years. Could definitely be game changing.

Re: Sea King microbrand, yes another one.

Looks like a cross of older Omegas with newer (mostly Planet Ocean) parts/design. Not bad overall, but at 44mm will be huge on most wrist. Might be worth a try a $250, but not for me at $500.

This one came in, and it immediately went on a Toxic. The straps it came with won't see the light of day.

This is the exact version I ordered. Looks good! What are your overall impressions?

Amazing, you can tell that takes a huge amount of practice.

He needs better music! Pantera, "Walk" would be epic.
