Re: Finally snagged a Moonwatch

Very Cool Chris.........I bought mine new in July of 1970.....Before they even mentioned the Moon Landing on the back,
but that's why I bought it. It's a bit beat up now, and the bracelet is long gone, but it's still a Great watch that runs
great.

Re: Casio digital solar that takes Nato straps?

Yeah the 1300G is a nice thin one. I have the same model. That was a ridiculously low price on that watch. I thought I got a Great deal on mine a year or so ago used for a 100.00 bucks. Only takes a few seconds to change straps on them too. I think that is the thinnest PAW ever, I know out of the 3 ...

Re: My first G-Shock........and its a fake

Lots of FAKE G-Shocks around. People seem to think because they are usually inexpensive that no one would bother but that isn't true at all. I remember the flood of BAPE's a few years ago. The fakes are usually pretty bad if you know your G's. I havn't handled one yet that fooled me. I've seen quite...

In this case, I'd almost believe it's just his. Remember all those King of Queens episodes, Kevin James was almost always
wearing a Casio or Timex. I've seen him on some other shows, and he's been wearing those same kind of watches.

Adam, Frogs are cool, I won't deny, but they just aren't for everyone. The Blue model
and the Brazillian IMO are the Coolest. If I had either of those, it would probably be
a Daily wearer for quite a while.

Re: Anyone here got a Protrek?

Yep, I've had about 5 or 6 different models of the Pathfinder too. Great watches. As the owner of about half a dozen SUUNTO's, I'll say that the Pathfinder sensors don't seem nearly as accurate as the SUUNTO's. This 1300 is the last Pathfinder I purchased. Re: Old Style/New Tech G-Shock

Those are cool!! I've owned a ton of G Shocks, and like most of you that have bought Frogman, I've sold all of mine too. I really like that classic styling of the original, it's just hard to beat for wearability. Light enough to not even notice, and enough functions to keep you happy. My 25th Annive...

Re: What do you guys think?

Personally I really like the Bathys. I've had my pre-owned 100 Fathom Auto for almost 2 years now, and it's been flawless. I love the looks of it too, it's not a 1/2" thick and looking like it fell off a tank. I wouldn't think twice about buying another, and I don't have to see them everyday. Mine i...

Re: A little help from G-Shock fans.....

I built a "stealthed out" 6900 a few years ago, and I wear it alot. Not solar, nor Atomic, but it has most all the functions you could want on it and it is reasonably priced. Good size too. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d130/dilweed/137_3791.jpg Just picked this GW 3000 up a few days ago, and it...
