I’m right there with ya on most rubber straps.

I have a leather belt hole punch. I end up adding an additional hole on most straps.
I’ve thought about doing that several times. This is a great idea. I should get one before I forget again.

Re: Rubber Straps - Not Fitting Properly

It’s something I have run into with not just rubber, but also leather and pretty much any kind of strap where the notches are farther between each other than I would like. It’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine. My Casioak falls in this category. When I wear it on the notch that isn’t too tight, it’s too...

FXD on watchsteward strap. I keep coming back to these for the FXD since there is no fabric under the watch.

Very cool idea. I think I would have to go with something like that if I had a fixed lug watch like the FXD. Is that his "G series" strap?

Re: Watches & Wonders 2024

Seiko does dials! Their new Grand lineup has another start in dial finish tech, in the TL LE. It's always another LE with them. They've turned the texture of the new White Birch, and from metallic to a whiter dial, pushing a dressier vibe. A hand cranker! Yes, thank you, Seiko. If it was Derick's v...

This one has been neglected lately. I think it’s because it feels too big now that I’ve had so many smaller watches recently :shifty:

Re: You Ever...

My brother just spent $15k to install a whole house generator that operates on natural gas. It auto starts monthly to test the system and emails him if there are issues. He lives in TN where the power lines are above ground and they get ice storms and tornadoes. If I lived in that kind of condition...

Haha, the good news is the toilet part is standard old school. If we lost power I would just go back to how it was a week ago. The other good news is we have a whole house standby generator, so if we lose power from the street we can still pamper our bums in luxury. Was wondering how the standby ge...

Re: Earthquake in New Jersey? New York? Pennsylvania?

I'm in south Jersey, and my house shook. We don't get many earthquakes around here, so I really didn't know what was going on. My wife was out working on the hot tub, and I thought something had gone terribly wrong.. No damage though, it was over as fast as it started. AT, I didn't know you were in...
