Re: Tudor BB58 your thoughts & advice.
Sounds like the BB58 is the one to go for then  Next step is to visit my nearest Tudor AD and see what I think of it in reality. Thanks guys. They just released a LE in bronze with a Glidelock clasp. I can’t image it won’t make it onto the SS version as well. I wouldn’t buy the cur...

Re: Tudor BB58 your thoughts & advice.
It would certainly not be my only watch. There are some that I'll always keep, my Speedmaster that I'd wanted from when I was a kid and finally got for my 50th, my Doxa's will stay too and probably a Sinn. Doubt I'll ever be a one watch man. A BB58 is expensive so a used one would be fine. So one v...

Re: Are BB58s still rare?
If they can manufacture the market as they do with Rolex, they'd be crazy not to. The Rolex method didn't happen overnight, it took years. Then they'd have a twice the price range covered.

Re: Has anyone owned an Explorer and a BB58?
I have the BB58 and the 214270 mk1 Explorer. Love them both but the 58 which I've had for almost 2 years gets way more wrist time. Would not sell either.

Yes they are alive well. Rolex bought them and now they are assimilated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro that's new to me. When did that happen? Rolex had always used them to make their bracelets. Started the same way they did with all their other suppliers. They bought in a bit then a bit m...

Doxa sub 200 t-graph chrono in stainless. 9/2/19 launch
Who said you can’t get parts? They have no been produced in over 30-40 years. Do you know of a source for parts? The only one I found was ebay. That is not a reliable source. :banghead: Well If you want to fix a movement yourself then I guess parts might be hard to come by. But like any old watch, ...

Re: Doxa sub 200 t-graph chrono in stainless. 9/2/19 launch
I always wonder about watches like this based on 'historical' movements that have been sitting around for decades. Are all of the movements fully serviced before being cased into the new watches? I assume so but it would be nice to know for sure. I had a similar question for CWC about their chronog...

Re: Doxa sub 200 chronograph in stainless!
15mm for a hand cranker! Cmon Doxa. Looks like a 1200 case size. 300 would have been nicer. Gotta like their style though with the NOS calibres.

Nato Buying Guide
I have several ToxicNATO's and agree that they are great. However, at 1.4 thick with two passes under the watch, some watches can sit very high on the wrist. Most seatbelt style natos are the same. Phenome Natos come in at 1.2 which I like better and find them more comfortable and well. The Gear Pa...

Re: Doxa Size Compared to Seiko Turdle
All this recent Doxa talk has me thinking of getting one eventually. Which model is closest in size to the Turdle? The 1200 looks like it’s a little smaller, but the 1500/5000 might be thicker. Any photos from people who own both? Also all the stats for the Doxa SUB family https://docs.google.com/s...

Usually when they release, you can get on board with about 500 off RRP. I've only been into Doxa recently but have noticed this.
