Re: Omega Seamaster GMT Great White - Service pictures

Lovely photos - always wanted to see the inside of these babies! My one is looking a bit beaten up nowadays - especially in comparison to yours ;) It may be time to restore the case and fit a new bezel... Welcome to DWC! Thanks for the compliment on the watch. How about a picturethre...

Omega Seamaster GMT Great White - Service pictures

A while ago my GMT was on a service. Yesterday my watchmaker sent me an email with some pictures from the service! :gift: Thought I could share it with you. Some are taken by me when I delivered it for service and he showed me around in his workshop. Some are taken by him during the service. Watch i...

Re: Which watch do you wear the most from your collection?

Not quite sure if I follow you here. What did you mean thinking about this? About the bracelet, I would really like it to be on the standard great white one.. I prefer that.. The only thing I would change about the watch... Let me try to explain my ambiguous comment: "Thinking about this" - the wat...

Re: Great vid..

I watched this vid just now and I'll give you my impressions that I perceived through my drunken haze..... It was kind of cool in a 'anything relating to watches will at least be somewhat interesting to me' way, but I would be quite disappointing if the men in this video were representative of your...

Last few months: http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c59/rousp/Watches/Omega%20Seamaster%20GMT%20aka%20Great%20White/image13.jpg Actually, thinking about this when I posted the Steelfish picture. (I like it better on this bracelet than the original) Anyway, if I could only keep one watch (one of thos...

Nice pics Kristian...I bet that Grand Duke would look sweet on the GMT (red stitching and GMT hand).... :1: Okay. Now I had to test it. Managed to put one of those annoying micro scratches in the PO lug when I did it. Can hardly see it but I know it's there! :angryfire: Oh well.. But the wo...

Re: THREE PAM "Homages"

That's a blatantly false statement. They feed them a small bowl of paste during the 18hr work days while these children assemble those watches. Haha, you did the exact thing I was going to now. :fro: We aren't going to save the world.. Let's enjoy watches, cars, wine and all thing good instead! :ga...

Re: THREE PAM "Homages"

Maybe, spending $5-10K on a watch when "there are starving children in Afrika" might be more of a sin than undercutting the image of some Swiss luxury item by supporting something that is a blatant ripoff of their intellectual property. Maybe? Ya think??? I think it is possible. We'll only truly kn...

Re: THREE PAM "Homages"

If you like them, wear them. Again, it's funny how some give these a hard time but have no trouble with Zixen or other HOMAGE brands... That is an interesting obeservation.. I don't want to wear anything homage, only exception is to try out a shape or size. Like these Pam homages. But don't mind ot...
