Have you seen Sour Grapes? Maybe Champagne IH is a fake wine connoisseur as well? Is champagne produced outside of the Champagne region (e.g. Upstate NY) replica champagne? Champagne, can only be called champagne on the label if it is from the champagne region of France. 3 principle grapes, and 3 m...

Re: Monta Ocean King No Date
It looks pretty nice. Monta has some nice pieces but seem pricy in the microbrand department. But the specs look good.

yeah a botched up grand entrance that don't go down well, apologies, but would like to start afresh. And he should be able to. Who else is going to introduce you product for free. Re: The state of the Micro watch industry
Not sure where Chinese made watches falls in category. Several years ago Alpha watches came on the scene and even had a Cal. rep selling them. Most such watches are now sold on ebay i.e. Parnis. Recently a brand called Merkur from Beijing is getting growing attention with its Seiko MM and Tuna insp...

Re: Horloscaphe watches
The French micros seem to really get things looking good. I’m kicking myself for not getting on Akrone’s list sooner. I would have surely bought the K-02, 03 and perhaps the 04, but prices are high but fantastic movements. This seem priced well because of the quartz movement. The design and finish e...

Re: Hamtum new release March 1st 2019
I really like this watch a lot. I can see myself getting on. My only issue is the clasp they are talking about using. If this is one of those long/sliding adjustment clasp they suck. They take up way to much wrist real estate imo. A regular fold over clasp would be perfect. I agree 1000%. I bought ...

Really like the white dialed version. Be interested to see the blue version too. Is that a ceramic bezel insert? Looked through the specs on the website and don’t see that addressed anywhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I checked the specs out and the H2 has a ceramic bezel on ball bearings ...

Re: Hamtum new release March 1st 2019
I like it. Minus that blue dot on the seconds hand, but I can swap out hands anytime I feel like it. I’m curious about the bezel insert. A lume shot would be good too. I did sign up on the link. It’s a good price. But I just bought a Glycine DLC Combat Sub. The Costco price was a no brainer even wit...

Re: SIHH 2019
For $26,600US I would pass. They are lovely but for a SS watch i am not paying anything above a few grand. I would buy a Ball Engineer III Skindiver or a preowned no date before buying a watch like that. Now if I had my Sailboat that I once owned, I might buy a print to out on the dining area or mas...

I think in house movements are so stupid as it raises prices and servicing costs. ETA really threw people into a panic, but their actions backfired on them as Miyota was ready to pump out as many 9015s as the micro market needed. Now they forced others to put out in -house movements, and yet none ar...

Not in 3 years. Sling beta user. I get ESPN and FoxSports through in-laws that haven’t broke free. I do HBONow. Watch Masterpiece on trial, same with Britbox. I have had Amazon Prime since its inception. Great streaming. I actually hate watching regular Trle with commercials. I used to pay $150 for ...

Look nice. Depth makes this more of an EDC watch. But we all have at least one we wear most often.

If you dig meteorite dials that’s a nice looker. If in the market I would probably opt for the Swiss high beat movement even if the no date looks more clean.

Dive watch with leather strap. I’m not a huge fan of the hands but they are legible. I don’t mind the logo but that name is crap!
Octo Pho. If it pronounced like Pho?
“Fubious,”. Sounds like somebody trying to pronounce Fabulous very badly.

I like the GMT look but I rarely use it. When I travel a regular diver or inexpensive world timer works so well.

I don’t seem to really like the aesthetics of this watch. Plus it’s quite expensive for a micro. Just my thoughts.
