Re: Skx009 issues

If you are not in a rush you can send it to me. I am not promising that I can service it but I can take a look. If everything else is in order I could replace the movement for you for the cost of the movement. Some time these come up used and they can be bought for $50 or less.

Monday joke

The old lady was standing at the railing of the cruise ship holding her hat on tight so that it would not blow off in the wind. A gentleman approached her and said: “Pardon me, madam. I do not intend to be forward, but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this high wind?” “Yes, I know,” sai...

Sunday joke

A policeman radio's in to the station.

"Hello, is that you Sarge?"

"Yes? Go ahead" comes back the answer.

"We have a case here. A woman has shot her husband for stepping on the floor she had just mopped clean."

"Have you arrested the woman?"

"No sir. The floor is still wet."

Re: "Avengers Engame". Somebody Explain It To Me . . .

Taste is taste. I personally like the Marvel movies a lot, however one can only decide for himself once he watch them. If I was to suggest to a new person I would suggest to watch the first Captain America and the first Thor movies. They are simple and they give a flavor of what they are.

Re: Redesigned Precista PRS-3?

Don't know anything about the new one but I had one of the original ones. As far as I recall it was a great watch and had decent lume. The only thing that I did not like was the black seconds hand and I replaced it with a white one. It was 42mm too. IMG_7110.jpg IMG_7111.jpg IMG_7112.jpg IMG_7117.jp...

Re: My project big One

Maybe you could include more data, it seems that you are making these yourself? If so it's great that you can put together such watches from scratch. As for the looks and reception it will certainly depend on the personal taste of each individual. I am personally past the large bulky watches but I s...

Re: New Tutima Flieger

Looks great. However if it was me I would do without the split numbers in red/orange/etc. also i would have done something more with the seconds hand, maybe like IWC or possibly an arrowhead or similar like old PO. Overall very nice though.

Re: Destro Dial Question?

It depends on the watch, dial and movement. I never personally tried but I was told that the Seiko SKX for example can have the dial turned 180 degrees and it fits right on.

Religious boy

A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night and have dinner with her parents. This being a big event, the girl tells her boyfriend that after dinner, she would like to go out and “do it” for the first time. Well, the boy is ecstatic, but he has never done it before, so he takes a trip to the...
