Never had one but this is easier the Breitling model I like the most. I wish you good luck.

Re: Diewald's Seahorse II

Not bad looking and at least it is not a copy of something else. Personally I would prefer smaller markers on the dial and a little thicker hands. Or even a military type dial I think would look good on that case.

Nice one, I would love to get that dial for a project... or maybe just the watch.

Re: Latest Seiko project, SRP779 with SDBC027 dial

Thank you guys. These parts are a little hard to find, I was lucky to find the dial on sale on the Seiko forum from Duarte. Could not find the 027 hands though so used what I had available. It’s odd that some parts are so hard to find. What does Seiko do if a customer needs replacement hands...

Re: Help with Seiko 775 'turtle' ceramic bezel inserts

Never bought from him myself and don't usually do bezel replacements but the last project I did would benefit from a nice bezel insert, I like the ceramic ones but need to research a bit more. If I find anything I will share.

Latest Seiko project, SRP779 with SDBC027 dial

This is one of the last projects I did, Seiko SRP779 with the Sumo Limited Edition dial SDBC027 and SNZH55 hands. I would like to replace the bezel insert to a black one at one point.

Re: Sometimes mattcantwin

This could have happened if the box had been dropped while the watch was upside down... the impact could have been enough to pop the hand out. It is only pressure fit. Actually this is how my first watch that I ever bought on a forum, arrived to me. It was a Seiko Monster shipped from Sweden, packed...

Baltic Shield Expedition project

This was actually done a while back but I never had a chance to share. It is a Baltic Shield with a Dagaz Explorer dial (he calls it expedition) and Seiko hands.

Baltic Shield Blue Sky project

I had a little time and was able to put together a couple of projects, this one is the result of coupling a Baltic Shield with a Metallic blue big number dial and Spork hands... I like the combination and these are actually really nice parts from Seiko. Sorry if my pics don't show the actual awesome...

Re: Super Combat B4 prototype - USN

For some reason I can't get past the dial, I guess the big difference in size between the numbers is not attractive to me. Also I think that the hands are a little too thick on this one. I would also prefer a different GMT hand, less visible or "distracting. But at least they are longer then the ear...

Re: Deep Blue's DayNight Tritdiver T-100 Coke and Pepsi

I like those a lot but I would prefer the minute hand a little longer, at least so it reaches the markers... The black dial should also have a black background on the date wheel and white numbers in my opinion... but they are nice.

Re: Gift for the wife need opinions.

I would ask the wife what size she prefers. I gave my wife several watches that were 36mm and then 32mm but she keeps wearing her 26mm ones, somehow they work best for her. She never told me and I had never asked before but when I inquired why she was not wearing the new watches and kept on her old ...

Re: Longines' HydroConquest USA Diver

Look nice, however the date in the place of the 3 is not too appealing to me. I would either remove the date altogether or maybe move it somewhere else.
