Re: Replacement NFL Officials

Pats coach grabbed one of the officials after the game. I think their making decent calls. I'm tired of this BS game, its turned into a sport for pussies. Let the gorillas play and kill Themselves. I hear yah, this is the kind of hard hittin football I miss from the good old days before all the nan...

I love Sinns, as long as I drag a cloth around to wipe the crystal when exposed outside the shirt sleeve. I gave up on them for that.

Remember Creedence, some damn good blues from them boys...

Drivin home late night this week from my summer gold prospectin trip to them hills, one of my old buddies slipped in a ancient relic from a band from years gone by. Almost forgot how good those Southern boys were back in the day. One of my favorite songs from them back then. More Harmonica. :headban...

Re: Best watch deal you ever made?

Many times on the loosing end when selling and I do expect a bit of a loss as I tend not to haggle when I want something when buying, but had one nice payback a few years back. Not a watch deal, but bought a small wicker basket ( no shit on wicker ) with a bunch of old watches not working from a sma...

OT, shipping question on sending a large package overseas.

Hey guys, have someone who wants to buy a piece of old furniture I have and ship it to Singapore. Problem is USPS doesn`t give me a ship option other than Express mail for around $225.00 bones on their site. Fedex and UPS are almost double that, any other options or is this how it is shipping a larg...

Re: 2500 Euro for a strap, you betcha...

The guys who are buying these straps are the ones forking out 30-70k for a watch with a $100.00 movement in it to complete it.
Now I get it....

2500 Euro for a strap, you betcha...

For those that have to have "the" vintage strap here you go. If I could afford the watch they match up too, it`s just a drop in the bucket as they say.

Re: BRUSHING A PAM?

Do it if you like, it`s easily reversible later on if you decide. Hell, I had a 24 once and polished the bezel like the old school first T dials were bored one day. Liked it but when it came time to sell out came the brush.

Re: Not usually a bracelet guy, but the Oceaneer feels right

I usually do the same with the bracelets as I prefer straps. My U1000 is the only watch I really love on the bracelet. The Korsbek looks pretty good though and it is nice to have some options. Did you ever come up with a solution for the caseback flaking? Poul offered to send it in and take care of...

Not usually a bracelet guy, but the Oceaneer feels right

Most times I usually put the bracelet aside when I get a watch (there are exceptions) and the Oceaneer was the same. Having had the watch 3 yrs now and only once maybe twice early on did I mount the bracelet on it for short times. Last week I was bored with another rainy day here and changing up som...

Really a big Go fan here, had the chrono for awhile but sold it.
