Re: New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue

Re: New Hamilton Khaki Field Reissue

I think it wears large for 38 with the long lugs but that’s just me. So far I’m digging it as a grab and go. Keep forgetting to wind it.

Prices on all watches seems to have gotten crazy lately. That’s if you can find them. The deals are few and far between anymore.

Good point. I’ll likely pick one up. If I end up not liking it it wouldn’t be the first time I’d sold a watch. That Black Bay is gonna be sweet btw.

MM300 and it’s not even close. Never really liked the look of the Capeland. The MM300 ranks right up there with the best of them.

Seiko also in the last few years has released so many divers in the same category they’re all starting to run together. I couldn’t begin to find the one I like because they’ve all got bizarre model numbers SQ9er518 or the blue bracelet model SQ9er412

I’m all over the place. I’m thinking a Todd Snyder Timex, blue/red NAFT, yellow G-shock, or Hamilton reissue.

Re: Explorer I thoughts

I’ve had mine for going on 7 months now and I’m really enjoying it. I’ve had both the Mark I and Mark II and I can easily say the Mark II is the way to go. I’d say I grab for the Exp more days than not anymore, it’s just so easy to wear and it definitely flies under the radar. Lastly, it’s just as a...

Having had the MM300 and the sub at the same time I’ll tell you that they do get a little repetitive in a small collection.

Explorer. It’s amazing. What’s the rest of the collection looking like these days? The no-date is no slouch either.

Re: Sub-C or SD4K

They wear very different and there was an adjustment period after I first made the switch. What were the biggest differences? SD wears slightly smaller and taller. Combined with the added weight, it just feels more technical and compact IMO. Sub wears wider and flatter. Visually, I find the SD much...

3-4 watches is where it’s at for me. Enough that I don’t get bored and not too many so they all get worn. Sinn U1 will be a nice addition to the PO.

Both started and finished season 2 last night . Was up till 430 but it was so worth it. Awesome second season with only a few small quibbles (looking at you episode 7). If you haven’t started watching this yet you’re missing out on some truly great tv time.
