Nice. Every collection needs at least one G-Shock/ProTrek IMHO.

Stowa MA today, and also two weeks ago at the summit of Zugspitze in the Bavarian Alps, Germany's tallest mountain.

A Vancouver Canada company started in the 90s...my hometown. Amazing they lasted so long ...good product and marketing . Back then I bought their ti digital model. I had one back in the 90s . . . when they were still called St. Moritz. I still have my St. Moritz Aquamatic from the 90's :) https://u...

Camo watches make about as much sense as this.

Nice pick-up. Solid, straight forward timepiece with a reliable movement and no glaring design miscues. Would be even better at 42mm, but that's just me.

Re: Kobold are they still in business?

Due mostly to dumb luck and coincidence, I never got around to jumping on the Kobold train. In hindsight, not a bad thing. They have produced some nice designs, but too much watch drama for my tastes.

Re: New Farer GMT Automatics

I've sworn off micros, but I like these a lot. The design is fresh and different, without trying too hard to be fresh and different. Not obviously derivative (of anything that immediately comes to mind at least), and they seem to get the details right. But I'd like them even more in the $800 range.

I wanted this one to be great because I really like their crown. Unfortunately it's a fail.
Their onion crown is cool. I have one of those on my MA.

Re: When your brand ambassador doesn't get the memo...

My wife told me she wanted a man's watch. She must have read in one of her fashion magazines that women wearing men's watches was a "thing." So I bought her a 39mm quartz Aquaracer. That's my one and only experience with TAG, and it's served her reliably as a daily wearer for five years, so I have n...

Re: Rolex Bracelet Question....

OEM bracelet will set you back some serious bucks, but probably worth it if you're a bracelet guy. If you're not (like me), an aftermarket bracelet may suffice. You might want to give rubber a shot too. I pretty much packed the bracelet away after fitting an Iso on my 16610. Next stop will probably...

Re: New Fortis prices on WB

That's a smart move by Fortis and WB. Some of those new prices are equal to or lower than used prices on Recon — will suck to be a Fortis flipper for a while. I've always admired some of the their designs, but thought they were a bit too richly priced. Guess I'm officially interested in this brand a...

I like the Wilson.... and the Casio. The Stowa is nice as well, but not as nice as the WWW. The Rolex is popular with guys that use public restrooms and have a wide stance. Welcome --- He means homos. He is talking about homos. Wait a minute, are you sure about that? I thought homos like Balls.

Welcome! Like all your watches, but that VSA is especially cool and unusual. Thanks. I've owned that one for 6 years (bought it pre-owned), and I think VSA stopped making it shortly thereafter. I like it so much I actually flirted with the idea of having Jack see if it would accept an automatic mov...
