Re: JBSF3 - thank you
Thanks Ed!! If anyone knows where I can source a legit Rolex Glide Lock clasp, I'd appreciate the information. Will try the Rolex dealers here in Germany when they open back up.

Toothpaste worked for me when I had some hard water stains on my U1, might be worth a try if the other stuff doesn't work.

Re: Help! Tudor 2 line Pelagos bezel stuck!!
After a little more reflection I think the majority of the issue was from me not pressing down firmly enough while turning the bezel. The watch is still fairly new to me and I guess I forgot that when the bezel is at the 12 o'clock position it takes a bit of pressure (by design) to get it to turn. W...

Re: Help! Tudor 2 line Pelagos bezel stuck!!
Gents - as always I appreciate all the suggestions. As JP suggested, after a long soak in warm water with dish soap it appears that whatever was in there must have come out. It works fine now. I also think I wasn't pushing down firmly enough when the bezel was in the 12 o'clock position to get it to...

Re: Help! Tudor 2 line Pelagos bezel stuck!!
Thanks James, appreciate the info. Hoping this one is like the older pre-ceramic subs and can just be popped off and inspected/repaired versus the newer ceramic models that require a trip back to a RSC (from what I understand). I had a bezel (not a Tudor) almost completely stuck, one of the tabs on ...

Re: Help! Tudor 2 line Pelagos bezel stuck!!
Thanks JP, should have mentioned I tried that but only for around 10 minutes or so, maybe try again. Bezel seems to be stuck solid now and doesn't want to budge.
JP Chestnut wrote:I'd soak it in some diluted dish soap and see what happens. There's probably dirt inside.

Help! Tudor 2 line Pelagos bezel stuck!!
Took my Tudor Pelagos 2 line for a hike today. At the beginning of the hike I rotated the bezel to keep track of how long the hike would take (Kokohead crater trail, totally worth doing if you find yourself in Oahu: http://www.everytrail.com/guide/koko-head-crater-trail) and the bezel worked fine, a...

Re: ToxicRubber feedback?
Got one in black for my U1. Comfortable right out of the package but even more so after doing the boiling water trick, big difference for me at least. Quick shipping and awesome customer service of course. Would be great to see these in additional colors. Great deal for the price, very much a qualit...

U1 Springbars - any recommendations?
Looking for a pair or two of springbars for my U1, they don't necessarily need to be factory, just good quality. Any recommendations? Thanks much!

Re: People who need some watch mods done, enter here!!!
Seriously considering having an older SKX bead blasted. Does it show marks easily versus say a brushed finish? That is exactly the work he did for me several years back, totally changed the look of the watch for the better. I think the finish held up really well and would do it again if I had anoth...

1680 with bracelet for $5850 (I can also vouch for the seller, he is local to me). Cheaper as service dial and refinished case (I think). Though it looks absolutely stellar with those chamfers. http://chronocentric.com/forums/chronotrader/index.cgi?page=1;md=read;id=47216 Wow, great looking 1680, l...

Re: how small can an oyster bracelet go?
The first thing I'd do with that is send the bracelet to classic watch repair to have the bracelet restored: http://www.classicwatchrepair.com/ He''s done work for several members of this forum and the results are pretty amazing. That and a movement service and you'd be back in business! Wow, that ...
