Re: Seiko 6105 Apocalypse Reissue LE

If this was true to form there will probably be a “modernized” bigger cased version as with the other reissue les.

Sometimes it’s a matter of perspective.

Big and little.

Fat and skinny. ImageImage

Re: BFH or big f’in Hamilton

It wears like the Pam 372 and the iwc big pilot. 24mm straps is right for this.

Has some weight but is surprisingly comfortable.

I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist and is comfortable but is still a statement with the size.

BFH or big f’in Hamilton

50mm craziness.

Cool part are numbers solid lume like the vertex.

Panerai straps now have more uses.

Actually not bad. Image

Re: ugh. here we go again (new hodinkee LE with IWC)

I think IWC should spend more time showing how their Sellita made movements are improved (if any) and less time on explaining ceratanium, which their marketing explanation of it would make any chemist or metallurgist laugh. IWC seems to have a history of improving, tuning and modifying off the shel...

I think it looks great. But like posted above, it looks $600 Hamilton great. not >6k great.

Sellita.

Well now out of my cart.
I completely overlooked that and just assumed it was in house for $6400 That price is ludicrous.
It was a big surprise to me. I would have expected the newer movements.

If you like it, you really can't go wrong with this one
It is the first IWC Mark (whatever) other than the big pilot that I like.

Re: ugh. here we go again (new hodinkee LE with IWC)

It’s probably going to be some version of a small old pilot watch that they are trying to make hot again.

Re: Best vintage Sub to buy today?

What about going a little different? the 16610LV. The Kermit, which may or may not be "vintage" gives you all the collectability, wearability, appreciation in a more modern sub - with all the features of a more modern sub. And...its a damn cool watch unto itself - it stands out with the dial and bez...

Re: F my luck - Jomashop!

I had a good service experience through joma. I got a JLC alarm, and after a few months, ran slow and basically had no power reserve. Sent it in to joma, 6 weeks later came back from JLC fully serviced. I can’t remeber if it went back to me directly or via joma, but saw the JLC paperwork. It may not...
