I rotate between the vintage pieces to give them some wear and keep the movements functional. But the top left and the top right tend to get the most wea...

Bremont sometimes takes a lot of crap.

But they do make a damn fine watch. The mbii/iii are well done.

Re: Carbon fiber / forged carbon watches - what options are out there?

Some good ideas.

I want “inexpensive”.

The inox doesn’t look bad. You can get pretty cheap. Anyone ever have it?

Luminox can also get cheap.

What you guys think about tempest? H2O Kalmar?

I haven’t had one of these in about 7 years, finally got this one back. Not sure how I feel now that I have it, but going to force myself to keep wearing it for a bit longer to finalize decision. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200902/37f8e5352ec1fab67c7be5a2275e2ea3.jpg Love love love this JLC.

Re: New Submariner announcement Sept 1st?

Does power reserve reallly even matter or is it just a marketing thing? Do you really care if it’s 40 or 70 hours? To me, unless it’s 7-10 days, who really cares. I said the same thing with the excitement around the panerai 372 when the big deal was made of three day movement. Unless you have a powe...

The 372 doesn’t wear as crazy big to me, but it is big. It does not feel overly high wearing on the wrist, just lug to lug. Only way to go is to tr...

Re: Sunday Afternoon Watch crawl

Did they offer you a discount on the bond I wonder... Ap scubas are fun. I had one way back when. Heavy - especially on bracelet, and the ss bezel scratches when you look at it. There have been quite a few around here with them. I remeber the internal bezel was hard to use also (for those that use t...
