Re: despite what the watch industry says is trendy, does anyone actually own/like two-tone?

I don't mind it theoretically ( I have never actually tried to wear a 2-tone watch).
Reality might be different

Re: Doxa 300

The Tusa is a 10 year old watch now. No doubt there was a few issues like this, but I haven't heard this complaint for a few years.

The GMT misprint (and how it was handled) was pretty comical though

Steel shroud makes things interesting. SNE497 could mod to stainless or DLC

I kinda dig the Golden 498 though. Like I need another watch

I was just looking at these a couple of days ago - will check out your vid later.

You may cover this, but how does it wear size wise compared to a NAFT?

Re: Doxa Size Compared to Seiko Turdle

In those photos it doesn't seem much larger, but from experience the NAFT wears significantly bigger than the 1200t case. As Matt said, a 750t is a good pick for a bigger size, and I have also had a 5000T (45mm) that is on the bigger side. PADI & 1200t SeikoDoxa.jpg It sure doesn't look like they ar...

Re: Doxa 300

I like it, but I like the Pro version better. As Andrew said I think the outline logo would have worked better on the silver dial.
Also not sure it is worth the extra premium.

Re: New Unimatic models are up

They make great watches. But I am not a fan of that style clasp. They are usually way to long. Hard to tell, at first I thought it looks alot like that generic ratchet clasp that you see on a few other micros, kinda like the strapcode one, but it does not seem to have that extra piece on one end, s...

You may be right Terry  .
All I will add is that there was one occasion that they forgot to do something, and it worked out significantly in my favor. A small error on the billing side of things... :shifty: ahemm....

I have a SubC, and a 16710 and I could "One-watch" either of them.

The only other watch I have owned that edges into this category would be the Omega PO 2500

Lorier seem to be doing things right for a small new brand - I am enjoying my blue Neptune.

Re: Lorier Watches - Neptune diver

Really like these, especially the gilt dial. The gilt and blue have been sold out for a while, so was going to order the only remaining version - black dial/white markers, which I also like. Well, of course I waited too long and now all are sold out. Not all is lost however. Found a LNIB (pouch?) g...

Re: Won a hummer on ebay

Cool, I had a Constellation hummer a while back.
One of the main issues they have is the plastic calendar wheel that gets brittle and breaks teeth.

Good article here actually:

Re: Lorier Watches - Neptune diver

Just arrived today. Early impressions are all very positive. Wears really well and does not feel as small as the 39mm spec might suggest. Very classic Sub sized, but with a bit of thickness making it feel a bit more substantial. I am impressed with the details like the polished chamfers, enameled di...

Lorier Watches - Neptune diver

I noticed a few Pics getting around Instagram, and thought I would take a look. https://www.lorierwatches.com/collections/watches I am not usually interested in micros, or homagey style watches, but occasionally something like this pops up that piques my interest. I ended up impulse buying (preorder...
