Re: Any tips on bracelet install? - Sinn 212

Make sure you are using the right spring bars. Sinn uses different bars for the bracelet and rubber straps. 100% this. bracelet bars are shorter than the strap bars, so you will struggle putting the longer ones on with the bracelet. It is actually worse if you succeed, because removing them will be...

^^^ That date window absolutely spoils that watch. Yuck.
That is the "big date" for blind old men I presume. They have similar models without it fortunately.
It's all academic to me, mainly because I am poor.

For those who have not seen them, the "Apple" watch and the Cheese watch from Moser:

I actually like this:

The Apple watch was great.
They are very serious about watchmaking, but have a great sense of humour.

If I was balling I would definitely rock a Red gold fume dial. Amazing

Of course it is a joke, jeez  . They actually made a watch out of cheese not so long ago as a similar statement.

Its a huge dig at other brands because Moser is #savage.

The video is funny.

Nice write up summary here (link posted to WS) https://www.plus9time.com/blog/2017/12/30/seiko-baselworld-2018-preview ^ He has taken the content down. I tried a cached copy though, and seems to work: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://www.plus9time.com/blog/2017/12/30/sei...

Interesting. I assume they will be expensive AF.

Also, everybody know Rolex literally invented green. One day Hans Wilsdorf was carrying a pot of blue paint, and a pot of yellow paint. He tripped over and the rest is history

Re: blancpain mil-spec reissue

If they could not/ would not brush it, that's fine. Just don't take someones money as deposit and then wait months to tell you it couldn't be done. That sucks. Maybe I am ignorant, but I expect higher levels of service from these "luxury" brands. Seems like you often get the opposite. The more luxur...

I think it is the same case Ben.
I came close to buying the Gnomon version, but was also put off by the orange markers, and I wanted a polished case.
This hits all the marks for me, but I just don't have any $$ right now :crybaby:

Squale Bund C3 LE

Just saw this on Instagram. I think it is pretty nice. Looks to be based on the 50 atmos case, ETA 2824-2. About as close as you can get to a Blancpain Bund without dropping the Blancpain money $$ Limited Edition for Amsterdam Watch Company  http://awco.nl/winkel/vintage-collectie/special-...

How hard is it to keep the case bright and clean looking? I assume they start going dull and patinated almost straight away?

placement and balance of the text make it a bit bottom heavy maybe  , they could have put the LUISAVIAROMA directly under UNIMATIC maybe.

But what do I know , I am not an Italian fashion designer
