Eagles Concert ESPN

Tomorrow night at 7 central. Not a huge fan, but I've seen them and they put on a great show. This will be my first time seeing the band without Glenn Frey. From 2018 at the Forum.

Re: New Tudor coming

I'm very interested in this one. The Pelagos blue, which I really wanted, but, in hand, its blue was a bit much for me and the size too big, as well.

Re: Bluetooth Speakers

Picked up a Charge 4 recently to replace an older jambox. Sounds great while working in the yard, and using it for outdoor movie nights. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200525/b9413d6035bd9db2bb1ae0bfb150be85.jpg Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk Good deal...I was going to say if you need a "...

Re: Bluetooth Speakers

I've got a JBL Charge 2 and really like using it. Good bass as it has 2 radiators and really great mobile platform. Also have a Anker Soundcore 2 for the smaller size and the Charge is noticeably better, which is not surprising given the larger size :) Bjorn... I looked at the Charge, but kept goin...

Bluetooth Speakers

Fooled around with some cheap ones years ago and was nonplussed. For a number of applications/reasons, I picked up a JBL Flip 5, all the time thinking I'd probably return it. https://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-speakers/JBL+FLIP+5-.html I'm rather impressed and I have a pretty decent home system. Consider...

Re: Movie suggestions!!

The Art of Driving in the Rain. I started watching this on a plane a couple months ago and started to sense getting moist eyes so turned it off. It is now on HBO. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Loved the book and the movie is very good. But you may shed a tear or two. One of those that we never g...

Re: Movie suggestions!!

Watched The Gentlemen last night. Never been a Ritchie fan, but I really liked this one and there has to be a Bremont in the film somewhere.

Re: $2400

None for us. I do think the augmented unemployment benefits will help, but the $1200 seems woefully inadequate to me and I imagine they will have to do this again.

Re: Lockdown Food Cravings...

I agree. Looks delicious. My wife and I are decent in the kitchen, but we've never done pizza. I think it's the dough part that has intimidated us or why go to the trouble when we have a favorite pizza place. I'm going to try Greg's suggestion. The top of the pizza can't be that complicated.

Re: Lockdown Food Cravings...

Regarding catfish, here's a menu of local place that is typical of a fish and steak house. https://taylorgrocery.com/menu/ A true catfish lover will always order it whole over the fillets and those curly catfish strips you may have seen are not fit for human consumption. We can also get real fancy w...

Re: Lockdown Food Cravings...

I think here in NJ they are called a “chop steak”? Essentially just a steak made of ground hamburger meat? Actually, that's yet another version we have here. Also called chopped sirloin, it's still not the same "hamburger steak" I'm talking about. Tell you something I am craving, catfish. Best foun...

Re: Lockdown Food Cravings...

Greg...no offense, and we've all had those and they're good...two different things. The name is interchangeable. I can't even find a good image of what I'm referring to, yet they're everywhere down here. First, there's nothing mixed with the meat and it's a larger but thinner patty. Typically served...

Re: Lockdown Food Cravings...

Are hamburger steaks a thing where you live? Here in the South, a good one is hard to beat. The Loco Moco and other variations are corruptions to a Southerner and vice versa. Ideally, you need a griddle, really good ground chuck, onions and gravy is optional, none for me. The "crust" is critical. Fu...
