Re: Hodinkee Watch Insurance

I have assumed that you guys with serious collections would have a rider/endorsement on your homeowners. That being said, as often as some of you buy and sell, I can see that being problematic.

Re: NH35 Stopped

I haven't had a chance to do anything and the watch has been on my desk since the 19th. Yesterday morning I noticed the second hand moving and the date was three or four days behind. Wound it up, reset it and 24 hours later it's working fine. I'm sure there's a logical explanation... The li...

Re: NH35 Stopped

As usual, thanks very much guys. I first thought about Terry, but I'll pursue this. It's so hard to find a decent shorter lug to lug, this one is 46, so it's get it fixed or buy another one.

Re: NH35 Stopped

Thanks Carlo...The second hand appears to be free and clear. At what point do you chunk these kinds of watches. Can't see spending much money on a $300 watch.

NH35 Stopped

My favorite beater (Armida A1) stopped working. The second hand will move 5-20 seconds sporadically if the crown is unscrewed and I'm fooling with it. It's maybe four years old and I don't recall anything unusual that's happened. I've tried what one normally would do. Any suggestions? Typical for th...

Eagles Concert ESPN

Tomorrow night at 7 central. Not a huge fan, but I've seen them and they put on a great show. This will be my first time seeing the band without Glenn Frey. From 2018 at the Forum.

Re: New Tudor coming

I'm very interested in this one. The Pelagos blue, which I really wanted, but, in hand, its blue was a bit much for me and the size too big, as well.

Re: Bluetooth Speakers

Picked up a Charge 4 recently to replace an older jambox. Sounds great while working in the yard, and using it for outdoor movie nights. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200525/b9413d6035bd9db2bb1ae0bfb150be85.jpg Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk Good deal...I was going to say if you need a "...

Re: Bluetooth Speakers

I've got a JBL Charge 2 and really like using it. Good bass as it has 2 radiators and really great mobile platform. Also have a Anker Soundcore 2 for the smaller size and the Charge is noticeably better, which is not surprising given the larger size :) Bjorn... I looked at the Charge, but kept goin...

Bluetooth Speakers

Fooled around with some cheap ones years ago and was nonplussed. For a number of applications/reasons, I picked up a JBL Flip 5, all the time thinking I'd probably return it. https://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-speakers/JBL+FLIP+5-.html I'm rather impressed and I have a pretty decent home system. Consider...

Re: Movie suggestions!!

The Art of Driving in the Rain. I started watching this on a plane a couple months ago and started to sense getting moist eyes so turned it off. It is now on HBO. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Loved the book and the movie is very good. But you may shed a tear or two. One of those that we never g...

It's amazing to watch somebody who knows what they're doing with that stuff.
