Now if they don’t fuck up the case might be cool!
They will probably stick it in a 52mm dive watch.
Haha knowing seiko, they actually might!

I think it was the dirtiest watch I ever got. The mud under the bezel was still moist. Yuck

Series: Restoring Seiko Divers

Since you guys seem to enjoy the other restoration I posted, here's a bunch of them I did in 2013. I'll post more as I dig them out. https://i.imgur.com/5WJmMJMh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/eeMDL25h.jpg https://i.imgur.com/hzzbeTMh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/HOBVNrXh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/NHOqmsHh.jpg ht...

where'd you pick this up? The 'bay, yard sale, sock drawer?
Alex has a magic well someplace. Apparently this one at the bottom [emoji1]
If that magic well is called patience? Haha
I try to get the best condition ones. Getting harder.

Restoring a Seiko 6306. WARNING: A lot of rust

Hey guys, Thought I'd share this restoration. From the outside, this 6306 looked like a peach until I removed the bezel. https://i.imgur.com/1Pnk5i7h.jpg It didn't look too bad, but then I removed the crystal retaining ring and there it was. A shit ton of rust. Seems like this watch was never rinsed...

Not sure if this video was posted already but Peter goes into depth comparing all the versions of the 6105 (original, reissue and recreation). Very interesting.
