Re: Best vintage Sub to buy today?

Make them pay their own way through school and buy yourself a DRSD! :headbang: Probably not the advice you were looking. So, to redeem myself, I'd suggest a nice vintage Tudor sub rather than a Rolex. The prices are much more reasonable, but still rising since the vintage Rolex Subs have become stup...

Re: New Tudor Sub?

Much more likely Tudor will do a vintage Sub than R. I’d live s matte dial/bezel Sub.

Re: Briefcase

You day no Tumi, but I’ve had this one for 15 years and travel a lot. I’ve replaced the shoulder strap and that’s it. The ballistic nylon holds up incredibly well and it’s a classic style unlike a lot of the trendy bags that are “in” for a few years and the “out”. It has a zipper in the middle to e...

Nordstrom has a decent selection and some are on sale. I tend to trust their reviews. https://shop.nordstrom.com/sr?origin=keywordsearch&keyword=briefcases&typein=brief&position=1 That Briggs and Riley one looks nice! https://shop.nordstrom.com/s/briggs-riley-verb-adapt-expandable-briefcase/3754956...

At the hotel drinking before my client meeting to review all our paperwork to prove we are ready to start the job. Drinking before client mtgs is always the best course of action! It has a unique winding motion that takes a little practice to get the wrist angle right. Oh, and I hear it has overwinding protection built into the movement.

Re: Thinking about a new device

Funny that I decided to start thinking about this topic this weekend. Looks like my computer screen is almost completely dead. If I so much as bump the case the screen goes black until I readjust the hinges and it doesn’t come back on immediately upon moving it either, so now I’m on my phone. Even ...

Check out Apple’s certified refurbished program for a nice discount and full factory warranty. I just bought a new MacBook and the screen and speakers are amazing.

I remember my machinist/mechanic grandfather used to wash his hands with Lava bar soap. I remember using Lava soap when I was "young". :raised: i thought everyone used Goop or GoJo back then? Goop, GoJo and Lava were all available at the car dealership I work at in my youth. Those suckers...

I went with a 3 pack of Orbi lately. It was between the Orbi and the Google. I chose the Orbi because the main unit has a few Ethernet ports. Each satellite has one as well. I liked that option. Costco had a sale on the 3 pack just before the holidays for $299. Great deal. Yeah I use the ethernet p...
