The lume numbers are totally unique and a cool feature no doubt. I’d be looking at it hard if it were < $1k.

Re: A refreshing start to the new year, with a new perspective...

Good change of view. All mine get worn for daily activities and not babied, but not abused - intentionally.

If I decide I need to flip one, I’ll send it in for service before so I get top dollar and the buyer doesn’t have to worry about minor imperfections.

Mainly my AD. He’s been starved of SS models while Rolex was pressuring him to do boutique like upgrades to his store. He tried explaining that he’s in a historic district and some of the things they were asking just could’nt be done. That’s resolved and he’s been promised they will fill his backord...

Re: what SIHH means to me practically

I said it to Art last year, but it just makes me appreciate my collection more every year. Yep - I feel the same way. Nothing has been released in recent years that made me want to flip something to get it. Last year all I picked up was some frugals - Samurai, SeaWolf, and Squadron (Helson). I stil...

It reminds me that many watches are truly luxury items and I can't afford a lot of luxury. :banghead:

I use to dive - about 150 open water dives and probably double that in muff dives.

Re: BP trilogy opinions ??

thanks guys, really like the GMT, the servicing issue concerns me a little. They made it right each time, but it had to go back 3 times each time it went in for service. That said, it looked and wore amazing on the black leather strap. Still one of m favorites to this day and they are cheap on the ...

Re: My struggle for Patek Philippe...

You punters are all mean, nasty fuckas. Quit hating on Archie. His Pateks are majestic and glorious. No daddy or mum to buy him his white gold Patek. Archie worked his fat little ass off to afford that watch. Eating brown bag panini lunches, driving a cab, giving hand jobs to drunk longshoremen in ...

I’ve searched for them on forums, eBay, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc and tried to do my due diligence to determine if they are a newbie or scammer. Generally I’ve sold them higher dollar amount wa...
