Re: Ever sold a watch because of weight?

Find the fitted rubber strap for it - I much prefer the U1 on the rubber.
It's nice on an isofrane too.

On the bracelet it is kind of a boat anchor.

Re: Omega Railmaster in Denim

On it’s own, the graphic design of the dial is fun, but pairing it with a denim trap with a contrasting pattern is silly. It feels like Omega releases a new watch variation every day. I agree, they should have just called it the “railmaster blue” and left out the cheesy strap. These new railmasters...

Panerai 176, it looks like a dive watch when on an isofrane.

Re: Spring bar length difference on bracelet's and natos?

I've had a problem where the spring bar tip was too long when installed with a bracelet. When trying to remove the bracelet, the notch in the endlink was not deep enough to compress the springbar enough to get the tip out of the hole. What a bitch. I look for shorter tips with bracelets now. I thin...

Re: Hondinkee's "One-watch" article

I've got a few potential "one watches" - speedmaster, 42mm PO, Exp II polar..

But the one I'd go with is the Pelagos. I work in a blue collar industry and live in the south. Sometimes my other watches are too nice for the situations I find myself in. The Pelagos always feels appropriate to me.

Re: Tudor aftermarket rubber straps

Thanks for the post - i may go for one of these for my heritage chrono. I tried the crafter blue strap for the black bay thinking it would work, but it was a no go. The springbars were just a half mm from being able to go in.

Re: Thoughts on Vacheron Constantin Overseas?

Hey guys, Ive been thinking a lot lately about wanting to get either a Patek Nautilus, AP Offshore or VC overseas. I may sell off a few pieces to make a run at one of these. I have really caught the VC bug as of late and wanted to hear if any of you have any feedback around the watch, the brand etc...

Re: New Moonphase Speedy

I tried on the speedmaster racing co-ax this past weekend. Its in the same 44mm case i believe. The diameter of the watch wasn't a problem for me - I have a 7" wrist. While it was large, it was not stupid large. The new endlink design helps a lot if you go for the bracelet. The thickness is a bit mu...

Re: Gift for the wife need opinions.

I bought my wife an apple watch and she loves it. You can get a pink strap for it if you want.

If she's understated and non-flashy, she may feel uncomfortable wearing a Rolex.

A red bezel 41mm with the 58 thickness would be perfect for me. Hopefully next year they transition all of the black bays to the new movement with the thinner case.

Come on davidsw is everybody’s best friend! I have no problem with TRF trusted dealers selling used watches. I have a problem with them selling BNIB 12K Daytona for 20K with stickers and open warranty cards, all while people have been standing in line for over 2 years with their AD and no Daytona i...

What about an older Infiniti G35 or G37 sedan? Those are fun to drive, reliable, and you can get a 6sp manual if you want.

When I picked up the Explorer my AD said likely no more stainless sport models until summer or later.
Does anyone know why exactly?

Re: Wruw Tuesday April 10

After a year of purging watches, I'm down to this Tudor "Tiger" chronograph in steel/18k gold on the factory leather strap as a daily wear watch. I've also got a Speedy Pro 3570 to change things up a bit. I'm trying to source a black leather strap that would work on this watch, but finding 20mm x 1...

I like the look of the smaller version more than the larger in this case. Less blank space on the dial maybe.

Your pictures make me realize I need a sub on a black nato. Holy smokes, that looks great.

39mm Black Bay with in house. $3500 ish.
Supposedly 12.3mm thick. If this doesn't suck for some unforeseen reason, it might be the cheap new watch I've been looking for forever.
Why the heck can they not make the regular black bay 12.3mm thick then??

Re: Has no-one mentioned the new Railmaster?

I remember being slightly down on it because they released it at the same time as the 57 limited edition railmaster. I like the hands and dial better on the limited edition. I wish they would put those into the case and bracelet of the regular railmaster. That would be a winner for me. I like the la...
