Lots to read here, but I think meters first matte dials. That second pic is a gloss dial.

It is accurate. FXD blue was the only right blue for the Pelagos.

Great.

Even in the Florida sun it’s a much deeper blue than a standard Pelagos.

Take your time cutting that strap! I had my first experience cutting a rubber strap with my Delugs CTS. They give you an extra strap in case you mess up and they do provide 2 adjustment holes on each side of the clasp, but it's still a little unnerving as you're cutting, refitting, testing, and cut...
