Re: Carving Knives

A friend of mine just got some shun knives. They're Damascus but not quite as detailed at those. I haven't cut anything with them but they feel good in the hand and seem very good quality.

Re: Unboxing.

Very very nice, congrats Eric I too owned a couple Volvos in the 90's. Probably would not be here if I was driving a different car one morning early in 1998 on 280 and swerved to avoid a baby deer going about 65. Hit a very solid wall still going at least 50. Walked away with just some sore ribs. A...

Watched 6 Days last night. It's very English, I like Mark Strong and I enjoy reminiscing about England in the 80s. Plus it's a reasonably accurate retelling of the siege of the Iranian embassy. Recommend.

I does be finding the headline both discriminatory and elitist.

My baby girl is a grown woman now, but my first thought was some type of pendant necklace engraved with something meaningful from you too her. Agreed, bracelets may be worn or not as fashions change, earrings are changed day by day but a necklace could be worn all day, everyday. My wife wears the c...

Re: Unboxing.

It's certainly cheaper in the US.. here in the UK for an xc90.. $10420 down, and $658 p/month (Volvo finance deal), might be cheaper from an independent place. Don't complain out here with our tax structure the XC90 starts at the equivalent of US$125,000.00! Nice car Eric. HOLY SHIT, where are you?...
