Feels like a death sentence for WUS, terrible as Tapatalk was, it was at least convenient. Definitely don’t see myself bothering with the hassle of a new app and process.

Re: New watch alert: Omega LMLEPO
One of my only “never sell” watches, about as good as it’s ever been for an Omega.

Re: Centinel Corp. CGI shipping gone?
Rates might have changed a bit but to be honest I haven't noticed. Transition to Star8Ship was pretty easy, and I didn't skip a beat using the service. Haven't had to file a claim yet (*knocks on desk*), but I've had little reason to complain from using these guys for the last two-plus years.

Re: John Wick Watch - Carl Bucherer Manero
So word on the street is that the JW director Chad Stahelski is tight with the Bucherer crew, so there are lots of CFB watches in his movies, including all of the John Wick films, along with a pretty neat cameo in Atomic Blonde as a plot device, and others. https://medias.spotern.com/spots/w1280/10/...

Re: Do they think we just fell off the turnip truck?
Just picked up a watch from WUS a couple weeks ago that was listed in "excellent" condition that came all marked up and on some third-party rubber thing that had so. much. cheese. on it that I just threw the strap in the garbage. I'll never not be shocked at what passes as "good" or "clean" c...

Re: Mr. Yao Crackpot's new release - Tornek Rayville
For the first time in this stupid watch-buying hobby/obsession of mine, I pre-ordered a watch that I won't see until December, but it definitely wasn't this one, and I really don't think I'd do it again – even from a reputable source. Like, I get a pre-order phase that's a few weeks, or a month at m...

Re: Another Tudor Announcement 5/25
I still think it's hilarious that it appeared as though Tudor had a Marine Nationale collab watch in the works, and then when *Yema* (of all people) beat 'em to the punch, they had to scramble to release something else as the teasers were already out there, and this is where we landed.

The new 22mm Tropic would get my vote. Close second would be the Hirsch Accent or the Hirsch Robby. I can't stand the cheap-feeling silicone stuff you get from Barton, and I feel like Bonetto hasn't made anything interesting as of late.

Re: B&R latest ceramic diver OD Green
Killer option on the secondary. I had the full lume version and it’s cool as shit, but I just couldn’t get the strap to seat comfortably on my wrist, and their rubber weirdly only has one floating keeper. Miss it, but I know better now I guess.

Re: Aquastar!!
I love this, but just like the Doxa T-Graph reissue it’s way over priced for me. Super frustrating. And on their site the movement is listed as a “high end Swiss manufacture caliber...”. Ok so what’s the movement? And that much on a strap? I’m not crazy about the trend of $3k-$4k being the new spot...

Re: Aquastar!!
Grey dial on this rules so hard. Chatted with Rick earlier this year, he seemed to be in a totally different headspace than when he was with DOXA – I get the sense that Aquastar is really his calling.
I'm not much of a chronograph guy, but looking forward to checking one of these out.

Re: In Case You Missed It - Timefactors
I can't wear anything under 40mm anymore. Why is the assumption that if you've made something too big in the past, that you have to swing all the way in the opposite direction?
