Aquis GMT would be very nice.

Same, I just didn’t want the blue one they have currently on offer.

Really love the Panorama SeaQ, but FFS, that case does not look like it belongs on a luxury diver.

Rolex is on my sh!t list as of late. It’s pure lunacy and a disregard for their customers. Go with Omega...arguably better movements and you can walk out the door with a fantastic watch.

Re: Windup watch fair

The new Halios watches don't photograph super well (they're super reflective, dials don't absorb quite enough light), but the case profile is sublime – easily the best in the building. I'm honestly a little surprised to hear they're getting panned - the feedback on the show floor was universally pos...

It’s not their first gold Sub
Ohh I know, it's not the material that I take offense to, it's the wholly arbitrary price. I don't honestly think they have or had any intent of selling (I mean, to sell, you have to have buyers) or even producing these – it's just to get people talking.

I can see the decision-makers around the table, planning this out. That meeting definitely ended with a, "ehhh, why not?".

doxa's totally lost the plot

Clearly the brand was trying to make a statement at Basel with the gold T-Graph, but I'd argue that the statement is "we have no idea what we're doing anymore" or "how much is gold supposed to cost?" https://i.imgur.com/K5pf9a9l.jpg https://i.imgur.com/vTw9VSVl.jpg Easily the most baffling watch of ...

New Quad Sensor Mudmaster is smaller too. They've redesigned the buttons and messed with the bezel a little bit to reduce the visual footprint, though I think the physical case size is the same?

My LMLE for sure, but after that, it's a legit toss-up. Probably between the Geophysic True Seconds, PAM 655, or just my Pelagos two-liner from forever ago.

other than the dial, it looks a little bland to me.
The case is actually really nicely designed – has some neat lines and textures to break things up a bit. And the H-link is my favorite type of bracelet. I really dig this one.

It's getting kinda shit on in the comments (that's my photo on ABTW), but this thing is seriously nice. Some of the best finishing I've seen on a diver in a long time. https://scontent-iad3-1.cdninstagram.com/vp/4bc880a4b2db6242f2f1992c0f40730d/5D036BE1/t51.2885-15/sh0.08/e35/p640x640/53195434_38967...

Funny, this was my least favorite of the three, but it's really growing on me. It was definitely the most popular around the Townhouse though.

Mike was the best thing for Bremont...he got me interested in the brand. Now that he's back, I may have to pick up another S500... Same. Bought my Solo after meeting him in SF a few years back. Definitely felt like the brand had lost its way in the USA (especially after Timeless dropped them), so I...

On a somewhat related note is Mike Pearson back at bremont now?
Correct – he's their new Head of Business Development in North America. Great role for him – puts him back in the community and working with key accounts.
