Re: Any regrets from Cord Cutters?

Only one regret for me: that I didn’t do it earlier.
Other than deleting Facebook, going almost TV-free has been one of the best decisions I’ve made in terms of improving my quality of life in the last five years.

Re: Karlskrona Hemlig - Latest design renders

The minute and hour hands look ok to me, slightly larger will also be ok but not a deal breaker as is. Maybe the seconds hand arrow could be a tad bigger. Regarding the logo, I think black on black would would great if it has some sort of 3D effect (ie embossed), otherwise a very subtle dark grey wo...

It's funny because it's true...

The store in ginza. Also, if you’re looking for used, Nakano Broadway is unbelievable. There are at least three stores that have multiple shelves that look like this, and Rolex is always the most represented brand https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181214/03e87370846cce83924456362aec468d.jpg It’s am...

I’ve been in Tokyo for a week and I could have bought as many as I wanted.
If anybody needs help let me know and I’ll look around next time I’m here.

Re: New Coffee Set-up

Any thought to offer on hand grinders? I like how its compact and don't mind the work. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181208/d4625e755ab3e0f94ce4d274a738169b.jpg With hand grinders, there is Hario and there’s everybody else. They are a lot of work if you use a lot of coffee, but you can control...

Total payment up front with a very long wait time.
And lack of any updates also. A lot like the Yao experience.
Jesus, he had multiple years wait time after taking the money?

Re: Two Special Quartz Divers

Seiko can be absolutely awesome and I still think they make the best watch for the money in all the industry. I mean the skx costs under $200, its indestructible, reasonably accurate (and can be easily regulated if not), has tons of heritage and is 100% in house. But some Seiko fans are insane. On t...

Re: Two Special Quartz Divers

I don’t get it. I wasn’t mean... just needed some explanation on the whole “my watches were touched by Spencer so they are extra special” thing. I mean, there is nothing like a vintage Seiko that has been worked on by someone who knows their shit. But I just don’t place those Seiko watch tinkerers ...

Re: WRUW 15 November 18

This just came yesterday. After getting the above Aerospace, it was perfect, but it was just a bit too small for me. Knew I had to have one in the collection though. So, picked up one that is the perfect size for me. Loving it. https://i.imgur.com/V1YOEb5.jpg Looks great, makes me think I need to g...

Re: WRUW 14 November 18

It’s the 15th already here in Jakarta.
Last day of meetings and I’m heading back home.
Haven’t seen my wife for 15 days so I’m looking forward to it.

Thanks again to Rob (raf42) for this fantastic piece
