Re: Gold Tuna and Fools Gold Tuna comparison

Who sells the bracelet version?
It must come from Asia but for some reason I can’t find it.
In Europe, no store has it for less than $500.

Thanks a lot in advance

I know there’s one for sale on Wus but it’s in the USA which isn’t easy for me at the moment.

Re: ’16 BMW X3 vs. ‘18 RDX

When in doubt I would always go with the newer car (assuming it’s a good one, and the Acura is great). A 5k miles used car from a reliable brand is, in my opinion, the best possible choice one can make: you’re getting what essentially is a new car but the previous owner took the bulk of the initial ...

Speedy today on Stewart’s beautiful strap.

Every time I wear it I’m convinced the speedmaster is one of the very few perfect watches.

Re: Grab 'n Go 2.0

I hit a speed bump adding a wear whenever quartz watch into the mix. The Aqua Terra I picked up on WUS was really nice but too nice for the intended use of the watch. Ben saw my FSOT post and got me in touch with Peter. We worked out a trade, I got his 2264 for the AT. Looks like this will fit that...

Looks like a fun mod, congrats Terry. One thing I'd like to see in the future is non-blueish AR coated crystals. Never understood if it's done on purpose or not but I personally prefer the clean, non colored look They make a clear ar already. Crystal Times sent me the wrong one. I actually wanted n...

It was great meeting you guys, thanks a lot for everything.
One day we will have to do something in Italia so I can have my mum go full grandma on you (expect to gain 5kgs).

DWC keeps kicking ass :)

Re: Anyone picked up or planning to pick up the new iPhone?

@terry I’m with you brother, but I would rather pay $750 every 4-5 generations of phones than paying less and becoming the product with android. I just try to use the phone till they are really issueless. I have noticed that iPhones tend to slow down dramatically after two generations (my 6 slowed d...

Re: Anyone picked up or planning to pick up the new iPhone?

It’s not the same ram, that XR has 3gb of ram and the XS 4gb. Also the XR has a LCD display with a lower resolution display. If you are coming from a 6 though, doesn’t matter. It would still be an upgrade for you. Personally if I was coming from a 6 and was going to upgrade, for $250 more the XS is...

Anyone picked up or planning to pick up the new iPhone?

Am I the only one concerned by the fact that Apple collected our fingerprints first, and now is collecting our faces? I don’t know, I’m maybe paranoid but I’ve always avoided Android for privacy concerns, I also never activated the Touch ID and would never activate the Face ID either. To get back on...

I really like this one. It would be even better with the speedy style bracelet and in 40mm, but still one of the best divers to come out in the last few years

Re: First-Ever Grand Seiko Quartz GMTs

Thanks to Jeff (jswing) I may have secured a LE. I should be able to pick it up either mid October (if it’s released already) or late November. I have been informed that Japanese release date is an opaque “October”, so I don’t think the date is set in stone yet. I’m super excited for this one. I don...

Re: Prospective buyer response (WUS)

It's now resolved but I would suggest as others have to specify payment method and fees. In his situation I would also have assumed it was PayPal and fees on you as that is the most common payment form on that site. I would definitely not have worded the response like he did though, he sounded like ...
