Re: Rick Marei has officially left Doxa

Well it's not like the stories I've heard on past customer service were glowing either. Could be a disgruntled employee unhappy because they sacked his boss? Also, aren't the Doxa owners the same owners of Isofrane, Aquadive and the new Tropic strap? Nice products an all (I especially would love to ...

WHAT?

All the economic indicators are turning pretty bad recently, if this and $13k submariners aren’t the textbook signs of a top, I don’t know what could be.

It’s one of the best seikos released in the last years, absolutely.
I may pick the blue version up on a Japan trip

No issue here.
The only other forum I’m active on has a rule that logs you out when you change networks X times, so I usually experience that when traveling for work.

Re: New SKX007 Variants

In my opinion not necessarily. The 7s26 is indestructible, I've abused a couple and they just keep ticking.
My 4r36 experience has been fine, but I've heard a few complains.

Interesting read about steel Pateks

Saw that article. Stern’s reasoning for not increasing steel models so as not to become an IWC makes some sense. But damned if they are not leaving cash on the table and pissing customers off in the process. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk But leaving money on the table is how you build a luxury...

I never really liked the iso. The vanilla scent sucks, I much prefer Terry's iso clones TBH: just as soft, a tad shorter and no scent.

Re: New SKX007 Variants

The new 5 logo is much better than the previous one (and much more balanced than the new GS logo fiasco). These look cool and can be a huge hit unless seiko now believes SKX watches should cost $500. How's the pricing on those? It says retail price starts at €280 Ok so should end up around the same...

I'm eyeing a hand wound nomos club (they are going for peanuts new here in Europe, like $950), and my 14060m is plenty enough for the "classic diver" category, otherwise I may have considered one of these
