Re: WRUW 15 November 18

This just came yesterday. After getting the above Aerospace, it was perfect, but it was just a bit too small for me. Knew I had to have one in the collection though. So, picked up one that is the perfect size for me. Loving it. https://i.imgur.com/V1YOEb5.jpg Looks great, makes me think I need to g...

You’d better walk slowly in the rain though Brice, don’t underestimate dynamic pressure.

Re: WRUW 15 November 18

I’m definitely in love https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181115/963bc855bd3bbb9c6b42a064706cda52.jpg Congratulations. It’s a great looking piece. I really like the newer Aerospace (the one with the hour numbers around the dial) and didn’t pay much attention to the older ones as I found they were t...

Re: WRUW 14 November 18

It’s the 15th already here in Jakarta.
Last day of meetings and I’m heading back home.
Haven’t seen my wife for 15 days so I’m looking forward to it.

Thanks again to Rob (raf42) for this fantastic piece

Wruw Sunday November 11

On my two week business trip I had to hit NZ, Australia, Jakarta and Bali. Where do you think I planned to spend the weekend? Did 4 dives yesterday and today, didn’t get to see the mantas but great experience overall. Surprisingly, the explorer II did not explode 25 meters below water Now chilling w...

I really like the 104, it's my favorite Sinn by far (should be no date to be perfect though).

Re: ARES Watch Company

Fun fact: in 2012 or so after a meeting at Kroger I added a couple days in Louisville with a friend of mine to do the bourbon trail. The very day we visited buffalo trace they were releasing a few bottles of 23 YO. I could have bought it for something like $180 I said no because I did not want to ch...

Re: Wind Up 2018 NYC, Seiko boutique

Great stuff thanks T!

What did you think about the Baltic Aquascaphe?
I think the design looks kinda kool, it’s an obvious homage but I like how it’s done visually.
How about the build quality?
Thanks!

The GS bracelets can be fitted to any kind of wrist.
I have 6.75 wrists and my 36mm GS (model sbgx065) still has more than a couple links I could remove.

Re: Watch taste maturation... has this happened to you?

My tastes haven’t changed much, except for the fact that I briefly tried slightly bigger watches and quickly realized they don’t work for me. 42mm is already a bit too large for me. Other things I came to realize: - a thin case shape is an absolute must. For some reason tall watches never work for m...
