When I first saw this I thought it would be too small. But, on reflection for a historically accurate release from the brand that made the original I have come to like it. It probably does wear a bit larger than the dimensions suggest.

I dropped a Seiko Solar Speedtimer onto a tile floor from countertop height and it seems to have survived unscathed. The impact started the chrono so maybe it landed on the pusher and absorbed some of the impact, but that is pure speculation. Everything seems to be functioning normally. So this may ...

I wish they had used the high frequency quartz movement in the Astronaut and given it a more attainable price. I like it, but it’s way too pricey.
