Re: DavidSW vs OCRolexguy vs Takuya for Rolex
I bought from and traded with David. Met him face to face in Orlando a few years back for a trade and he is a decent guy. All the deals were excellent and all communication has been top notch. His business is bigger now and he has another guy working for him, Dan, who posted here for a while. I'm s...

If they did both 42 and 46 size and then figured out the 42 size they had more sale's then Breitling would get there head out of there ass and start making normal size watches again. You are 100% wrong here. Breitling makes what their customers want, not what nerds on a forum think they should make...

Lugs look thin to me. If it's for you go for it. But to me it seems to be just a tad high.

Re: New Breitling monopusher
Um — you guys do know that the 3-minute subdivisions on the chrono minute register are found on a lot of historical chronographs, right? Not only does it help legibility, but back in the day, they also used to use fractions/multiples of 60 for timing navigational intervals. Tradition, man. That dat...

Eh. I only use trees after a good wearing. After that, my experience has been they stretch the leather too much.moishlashen wrote:^^^^a true shoe whore would have trees in all of those

Re: Dress shoe question
My opinion, go out and spend some decent money on a good pair of wingtips. Something like AE's would be stretching the budget a little I know, but it's worth it and you have a shoe you could easily wear with jeans as well. But don't mind me, I'm a shoe whore. http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h250/i...

Re: Leather belt recs
How about input from the strap makers here? Stewart, Drew, Art, Justyn? Is Chromexcel better than vegetable tanned? IMO I would go with Veg Tanned over Chromexcel. It will age gracefully and not tend to stretch as much as the Chromexcel. Most Belt makers will do a veg tanned backing just for this r...

Another vote for Filson. Although if rain wasn't the issue I would recommend a nice Alpha Industries Jacket.

Super cool. Nice little man cave. I could see myself sipping a nice whiskey and smoking a good cigar in there. Guess I'm still stuck with the garage for now.

Almost pulled the trigger on some Redwing Iron Rangers in Amber harness leather tonight. They were lighter then I had seen in pics and didn't have any of that cherry look I was wanting. Almost sucked it up and bit the bullet when the sales guy said they were releasing Oxblood this year. Showed me ca...

Other than the hands, the dial, the bezel, and possibly the movement, this Omega is definitely 100% original.

Re: Linde Werdelin news!
The carbon is cool looking, but not so cool to have to replace the case if you knock it around a bit. I admit I'm hard on my divers. This is far less likely to shatter than the ceramic case watches. Depending upon the wall thickness, you will have to do some serious abusing to get it to fail. I'm a...
