Re: New 2020

This would have been a great opportunity to make a 6105 at a similar price point, which would have sold like crazy, but instead they make an unobtanium LE of that, and give us this...

I'm interested but there's no chance for me anymore at these prices. Same can be said for Patek, AP, VC.

Re: Seiko SBCM023 Perpetual Calendar

I’ve always wanted one. I almost bought one for $400 years ago. At $800 I’ll never even think about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This. Give me a 7c46 tuna at equal or lesser value which is more watch anyway. These are now collector pieces and not worth the price imho... it’s pretty obviou...

Welcome. No watch snobbery here... The resident ballers enjoy a good low-end seiko like the rest of us. We need more watch flippers here... stick around.

Re: New Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Chrono Quartz

Very cool except for the terrible faux patina lume. God I hate it so much LOL. I'm sorta with you on this one but as a fun quartz it might be cool derivative to try for that vintage vibe if the head alone can be procured for cheap. As for 22mm, natos come in that size too, so not a problem. Size is...

Re: What is your last watch purchase of 2019?

Two for the year.

X33 Skywalker which I love

And PADI re-issue Arnie, which is great but want to cash for an unforeseen weekend trip to ComicCon. It'll be back at a later date but thinking the black version.

Re: New Hamilton Khaki Aviation Pilot Pioneer Chrono Quartz

I really like these. I’ve been wanting a quartz lately and this is in my price range. I was actually saving for an Ares onesie in hopes that the $100 off and holiday package was still happening but saw that it’s not offered now. Here’s the bracelet version Joma price : https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn....

Is there a reference these are homaging? I don't think that's a word but you get what I'm saying...

I have nothing to offer but second MWR forum as a reference. Some of those guys and gal own some gems and should be able to give you solid advice. I think the Great Lake reference is cool and adds to the potential of authenticity and potential rarity, especially as a my family has caught a few “fish...

Re: Marc from Island Watches Now Selling "The Islander" . . .

I think that’s great, although I’m already over ceramic bezels - too shiny for me I wish him well I have never been a fan of the shiny ceramic bezels. I've always considered having my 114060 bezel blasted (Like Wu's Mod), but never did it. Yeah - I’ve seen that (Matt has all the cool toys) Wonder i...

I own Terry's PADI and agree the crown size makes them manageable.

Lume on this thing is great as expected and lasts forever.

Re: Some Space program stuff...

So the small Apollo-era American Flag Beta Cloth arrived from a reputable private collector. Wasn't cheap so the rest of the budget will need to go toward proper framing. This will go where the Ruffhaus patch placeholder is on the OP pic. BTW, I used my buddy's restaurant patch as a placeholder beca...
