Great to see Ocean7 get a new lease of life. I did a lot of work for Mitch in the early days and met up a few times over at Basel. Good luck with the company, i hope it goes well for you. Re: OCEAN7 RE-LAUNCH

Hey guys, I posted the announcement of OCEAN7 on this forum in order to solicit constructive feedback. Good or bad, it makes no difference to me because I respect the members here. I refer watch enthusiasts to DWC and many other forums quite frequently, so if a comment from another member, new or ol...

Re: OCEAN7 RE-LAUNCH

By retreads do you mean later models of the LM-1? What was it yo didn't like? probably the dome-type crystal - it was hard to tell the time at an angle. But that's just being picky - i had the black and white version and i didn't like them at all. They are not the same watch as the one above, basic...

Re: OCEAN7 RE-LAUNCH

Bought an LM-3 about 10 years ago. It was on closeout for $399. Liked everything about it except the lume, which was nearly nonexistent. https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/render/00-0SGjeiYJSNtJsnLaMur1U6Bwkey3Ww9OVUcbjnLRFctDu3OxdHxAUSR-FUDB1__3?cn=THISLIFE&res=medium&ts=1343101173 https://uniim1.shutt...

Hey Pat, just wanted to thank you. The purchase experience was awesome and you were super patient with all my questions. I received my LM-2AD a few days ago and I absolutely love it!!! I like the GMT. https://i.imgur.com/SPiQhaj.jpg the LM-5 GMT is another one of my favorites. Years ago I really wanted one, but they were always out of stock. I settled for the LM-5 three hand and I still wear it to this day! My apologies for the image on the website. The red color of the bezel is ...

Re: OCEAN7 RE-LAUNCH

I had a blue dial LM-6 and a black dial LM-6 and loved them both! Those were some of the first watches I had besides a Stowa Pro Diver and Seiko Monster. Good luck with the company, I am eager to see what you come up with. The LM-6 is a gear watch! We have them in a GMT as well. Thank for the comme...

I definitely liked O7 back in the day. I think I had an LM6, but I’m curious about what else. I don’t remember right now; I need to look through old photos.
Thanks for the reply. I would be interested in seeing some old photos

So the LM3 V2 you have in stock- is this like old stock or were these made recently? I guess it’s been just over 10 years… https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211114/7ed4a49f320893639d72b31351d30a04.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes the LM-3s we have are the original design. Re: OCEAN7 RE-LAUNCH

I appreciate the nostalgia of bringing back O7, but I think there's stiff competition at the website prices. As you know, you'll also have the hurdle of the bad customer service reputation to overcome. I hope you've got some cool designs up your sleeve. I'm not a buyer of any of these at $500, let ...

Re: OCEAN7 RE-LAUNCH

I think the downfall I remember was the lm7 ploprof homage with a 58 click bezel. And all the rationalizing that this was the way it was supposed to be. When some one took it apart, and showed the underside of the bezel it was frankly a cluster. The original lm-1 le was fantastic, but if I remember...

Re: OCEAN7 RE-LAUNCH

I always wanted an LM6 GMT in yellow and never bought, glad to see the brand back. We can do a yellow dial LM-6 GMT, but the numbers on the chapter ring would be orange. We tried the look and it didn't work. We may order different chapter rings in the future if the model sells well  Is it...
