https://i.imgur.com/Cx3wZro.jpg This pic does get me interested... Is it really that shade of light blue? Looks better than the stock pic, but which is correct? https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ag2moEUe4X0/XcTlPMANpeI/AAAAAAAA8YU/j9T9qZOLX6MK_GVhjYrFnbPmjfPK6TL3gCLcBGAsYHQ/s1600/DOXA+SUB+300T+Aquamarine....

Re: WRUW 18 November 19

It looks real good [emoji106][emoji106] No running seconds, right ? Yeah, no running seconds. Very minimalist design. I did put it on my timegrapher machine and so far it's the most accurate watch that I've ever owned. It runs a very consistent 0 s/d to 1 s/d. Not bad considering that this is 2 yea...

https://i.imgur.com/luwGjRh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/yxQZLXF.jpg Way cool I have always liked these How does it wear? I believe the manual wind version is slightly thinner than the auto version. It's 41mm x 50mm and about 13mm thick. It wears very well on my 6.5 inch wrist. https://i.imgur.com/MYZHO...

Re: Longines Heritage Military 1938

Everything I've read says that movement is 36.6mm wide (https://wornandwound.com/caliber-spec-unitas-64976498/) 40.5 - 36.6 = 3.9mm Divide that by 2 and you have a mid case wall thickness of only 1.95mm thick (and that is assuming perfect machining with no gap for tolerance variances). A quick goog...

Re: Longines Heritage Military 1938

That is sharp looking. It would probably wear much better at 40mm. Can you even get a Unitas 6498 into a 40mm case? I think the movement itself is almost 37mm across, so a 40mm watch with this movement would have case walls only 1.5mm thick. An ETA 2824-2 is only about 26 mm wide which is why most ...

Not too long ago 20-30% was possible. Jomashop still has plenty of popular Omegas at >30% off MSRP.

I think it's over-designed. Simple is better. Plain black chapter ring, matte bezel, etc.

Re: Longines Big Eye vs. Farer Big Eye

Saw it at Windupnyc. It was nice, but after seeing it I would go with the Longines.

I did really like the blue dial version though, and the Lander blue/green dial chrono was my favorite from the brand.
