Re: MUZAK - Whatcha listen'n to???

Was outside making a second bee hotel (one to keep for us) and listening to Spotify. This was playing. https://open.spotify.com/track/3xDzENGFlOcJArnPahlx13?si=VvuaVaeIQZqj0nuquBWdKQ Wife came out and gave me a nice compliment, asked if that was me singing. I like tab benoit’s voice / style. Made me...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

i wore long pants for the second time in 2+ months yesterday for a few hours while i went into the office (the first time for more than an hour since mid march). and they were jeans. but i've been wearing jeans/collared shirts to work for 2 years now, and khakis + collared shirts for 10+ years befor...

Re: New Omega Constellation models

i don't know what's going on with omega the past 5-6 years, but they seem to be taking a lot of watches and finding ways to make them gaudier and tackier. every once in a while they get one right, but this is just crap.

Re: New LE Teaser on WB Site

i come back occasionally and see if there are new posts in this thread with real news. but the "cute" factor of the guessing game ended a while ago. string it out for a day or two? sure. weeks? eff off, let me know when you're done, i don't really care about hints any more.

yeah, it really felt like, "let me make the nomos club a little less classy." the only plus is the shorter lugs.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

the other small pieces are bamboo. one big bamboo stick cut and a bunch of very small ones. you really just need something "reed-like." you can even use paper straws. i made all of mine from scrap. blocks are from an old stair tread. log i just found in the yard. big bamboo came from a neighbor's ya...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

Funny you say that. My wife and I used to go to the gym 4-5 days a week for a long time. I did cardio and most of the weight machines. She did cardio and classes. One was core and more which she talked me into trying. One lady was a Pilates instructor in her 40's. The next day I had sore muscles in...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

it will probably sound weird to most of you guys, but i dropped 25 lbs doing hot, vinyasa yoga 3 times a week, and probably firmed up a few muscles i the process, since after i stopped, i didn't gain weight, but my pants got a little tighter, so probably lost more like 30-35lbs of fat. it's actually...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

so... two new guitars (just finished godzilla tonight), off to get finished and have electronics added. IMG_0498.jpg APC_0492-hdr.JPG also fixed the silks (the foam lining) in my mic, since some of it looked to be dry rotting away. so i said WTF, let's switch from the dull grey silks to some nice br...

Re: Newbie question on the Planet Ocean Series

it really comes down to what you like.

personally my 42mm 8500 is as big as i'd go on my 7.25 wrist. the only exceptions i've found are the U1, which still feels a little heavy but it wears smaller than it's case size because of the lugs, and the seiko turtle.

Re: iPhone to Android?

until the past couple of months, i was totally fine with face recognition. i thought i'd find it annoying, but it works pretty well. but wearing masks makes it annoying and, at the moment, i'm missing fingerprint unlock. i've been perfectly happy w/my XR (upgrading from my 6S). i actually have two n...
