MASN is rerunning the games (and they're streaming live on facebook) every day. last night was game 5 with Kendrick's grand slam in the 10th (and the back to back homers by rendon/soto off of kershaw) and tonight was sanchez no hitti...

Re: Stay at home binge watching?

FYI, if you're interested in Picard, right now CBS streaming is doing a free month, not just week. plenty of time to binge all of Picard for free. it's not bad, a couple of episodes in myself. we have one left for ozark (tonight) and we're one behind on westworld (probably tonight). and will jump in...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

trying this out in the instant pot tonight. https://skillet.lifehacker.com/make-the-perfect-instant-pot-pork-ragu-with-burnt-onion-1841832998 If you want to try it the Italian way: Use a mix of meats. A good combo is 50% beef (short rib works great), 25% pork (shoulder is great) and 25% veal. Cook ...

i'm a big fan. like their writers overall. but i didn't (and wouldn't now) join until they got the local writers for DC. having beat writers for my fave teams makes it more valuable on top of the national guys. and aldridge is great. been reading him since he first started writing for the post a lon...

Re: Lockdown Food Cravings...

Loco moco is an easy one to make and perfect on your own. Just make a nice meatloaf style patty to your liking. Maybe a bit sweet? Splash of teriyaki sauce, some caramelized onion, little bit of dried milk power maybe?, maybe some knorr onion soup mix. Pulverize some chicharron as a binder? Experim...

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

They are managing shit pretty well. I got there a half hour before it opened and was 88th in line, ver...

i checked my painting supply bins and found a few charcoal masks and one P95 (which is an N95 + oil resistance). so i have at least one good mask and a few that are better than a cloth mask.

Re: Lockdown Survival - what are you doing?

our most-used instant pot recipe:

https://www.dadcooksdinner.com/pressure ... at-cheese/

you can sub fresh grated parm for the goat cheese, too (we do). and add other veggies if you want them. about 80% as good as regular, harder to make risotto, but about 15% of the work.

Gerald wasn’t seeing patients, he was changing a strap. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200325/b0b297d1928fe83723ee0ef3b99cae8b.jpg How's he going to hit the nitrous tank with that cumbersome mask? those filters come off and present a perfect hose plug to connect straight to the tank.
